So “Corey Booker” is a Crook just like the rest of em…

I thought he was Newark’s night and shining armor? I thought he was able to leap tall buildings by a single bound? I thought he was faster than a speeding bullet? Especially when he was all over Newark during last year’s snow storm, aiding the elderly and helping Newark residents get plowed out. But it turns out Newark Mayor Corey Booker, is a shyster just like the rest of them.

Chaos and confusion broke out last Wednesday (November 21) in a Newark city council meeting when Mayor Booker, did some dirty political maneuvering to break a tie vote between John Sharpe James by making the deciding vote with his council allies for Shanique Davis Speight (inset photo), his longtime friend.  Booker’s actions caused a near-riot in city hall and Newark residents, in conjunction with union thugz, rushed the stage and lunged at the Booker’s new council crony, Shanique Davis Speight.

After weeks of jockeying for Rep. Donald Payne’s successor, Booker made an unprecedented personal appearance to cast the deciding vote with his council allies for Shanique Davis Speight, despite the angry objections of Newark residents.

One faction of the council wanted to appoint former Newark Mayor Sharpe James’ son, John Sharpe James, who is a vocal opponent of Corey Booker, while another faction allied with Booker preferred Shanique Davis Speight, making the vote between the two; a tie.

After the vote, residents who opposed Speight’s appointment and Corey Booker’s power play started chanting “Cory’s gotta go!” while Muhammad a union leader, who is a male, led a mob and “stormed the dais and appeared to lunge toward Speight,” who was with her “grade-school-age son.” Officers had to douse Muhammad and other residents with pepper spray to restrain them from doing more damage.

Mayor Booker was criticized for staying in a back room with his staff to avoid the mob scene. If he had nothing to hide, he would have addressed the people boldly; and stood by his position and his decision.

Sounds like Corey Booker’s “star is fading fast” and his heroic efforts of supposedly saving his neighbor from her burning home is a thing of the past.

400,000 Sign Petition for Macy’s to Oust Trump

Because of his loud mouth, his public skepticism about President Obama’s birthplace and “sexist” comments, over 400,000 people have signed a petition asking Macy’s to sever its ties with business mogul Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump does not reflect the ‘magic of Macy’s and “We urge you to sever ties with him,” the petition reads on signon.org.

Singer and actress Cher was among those joining the “Dump Trump” campaign, calling him a “loudmouth, racist cretin” over his criticism of Obama.

“I’ll NEVER GO TO MACY’S AGAIN! I didn’t know they sold Donald Trump’s Line!” she wrote on Twitter.

Trump’s spokesman Michael Cohen, however, expressed confidence in the strength of the real estate mogul’s relationship with Macy’s.

“Mr. Trump is important to Macy’s, both as a brand and as an endorser. His ties, shirts, cufflinks, fragrances and other merchandise are top-selling items across the country – in particular Mr. Trump’s ties are the number one selling ties at Macy’s.”

Cohen questioned whether there are, in fact, 400,000 unique signatures on the petition. “Nevertheless,” he added, “the country has been founded on the principles of freedom of speech – something Mr. Trump is entitled to as well as the creator of this petition.”

Trump had not personally addressed the petition on Twitter as of Monday afternoon, but made a point of tweeting about his new clothing line for Macy’s.

Elmo puppeteer Had Under Age Relationship

Kevin Clash, the puppeteer who performs as Elmo on “Sesame Street” is taking a leave of absence from the popular kids’ show in the wake of allegations that he had a relationship with a 16-year-old boy. Clash who denies the charges, which were first made in June by the alleged partner, who by then was 23.

“We took the allegation very seriously and took immediate action,” Sesame Workshop said in a statement issued Monday. “We met with the accuser twice and had repeated communications with him. We met with Kevin, who denied the accusation.”

The Sesame Street organization described the relationship between Clash and the accuser as personal and “unrelated to the workplace.” Its investigation found the allegation of underage conduct to be unsubstantiated. But it said Clash exercised “poor judgment” and was disciplined for violating company policy regarding Internet usage and they offered no details.

“I had a relationship with (the accuser),” Clash told TMZ. “It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not.”

At his request, Clash has been granted a leave of absence in order to “protect his reputation,” Sesame Workshop said. 52-year-old Clash, is the divorced father of a grown daughter and has been a puppeteer for “Sesame Street” since 1984. “Sesame Street” is currently in production, but other puppeteer’s are prepared to fill in for Clash during his absence.

Mississippi Still Racist in 2012!

About 600 ‘Ole Miss’ students gathered Wednesday for the “We Are One Mississippi” counter-protest. Racial slurs were used when about 400 students gathered to protest President Obama’s re-election Tuesday night. The Tuesday night protest grew to about 400 students after Obama was re-elected.

Some shouted, “The South will rise again” during the protest, eyewitnesses and university police officials told The Clarion-Ledger. Others used racial slurs. An Obama campaign sign was also burned.

University of Mississippi students held a candlelight march to protest a spontaneous anti-Obama demonstration on Election Night that turned ugly when some students shouted racial slurs.

Ole Miss is still grappling with its legacy as the setting of racial riots in 1962 after James H. Meredith was enrolled as the school’s first black student. Two people were killed in the violent protests, which forced President John F. Kennedy to send in federal troops.

“It just makes me angry that we’re celebrating 50 years of integration yet people decided to be stupid last night and throw a fit over the election,” student Jordan Price told WREG.

“There’s no place for something like this in our school,” student Mackenzie Widder said.

School and police officials told The Clarion-Ledger that some reports, including those describing the demonstration as a “riot,” were exaggerated.

Dean of Students Sparky Reardon said: “There were tens of thousands of other Ole Miss students who were studying or working for campus media or attending election watch parties. They were busy doing what Ole Miss does best”

The school is working on an appropriate response to the incident.

All of this took place because President Barack Obama was re-elected for a second term? What did they do four years ago when he was elected?
