Senator Blames Obama for ‘Exacerbated Racism’ That Helped Elect Trump

What will Former President Barack Obama be blamed for next?

Former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) blames former President Barack Obama for the racial divide in America that helped sway voters to elect Donald Trump by a landslide. Santorum said Obama could have brought the country together but instead he increased racism in part by his response to police shootings.

Santorum made the accusations during a heated State of the Union panel discussion about racism on CNN Sunday.

The panel discussed a new book written by a former Obama adviser who quoted Obama as saying “What if we were wrong” about what the American people wanted from a president. “Maybe we pushed too far,” Obama said. “Maybe people just want to fall back into their tribe.”

Karine Jean-Pierre, a senior adviser and national spokeswoman for MoveOn.org, said it was “pretty horrific” to see voters rally behind Trump during the 2016 election.

There was an uproar. You saw the Tea Party. You saw obstruction by Republicans time and time again,” Jean-Pierre said. “It is kind of problematic. It says a lot about this country, and Donald Trump tapped into it.”

Santorum added that Obama played a part in increasing racism that helped elect Trump to office.

What’s being ignored here is the role that Barack Obama played in all this,” Santorum said. “You can’t just go from ‘well, we elected our first black president’ and ‘all of a sudden we get Donald Trump.’ There was something in between those two things.”

According to Santorum, “many, many, many people” saw Obama being racist himself, particularly after police shootings involving white cops killing unarmed black men.

Every time there was a controversy with someone of color involved, he took the side, many times, against the police,” Santorum said. “He did it over and over and over again.”

Santorum added that Obama was “someone who could’ve brought this country together” but failed to do so.

Jean-Pierre, who sat beside Santorum on the panel, defended Obama, saying the few instances when Obama did speak up after police shootings he was standing up for people who had been unjustifiably treated.

She asked Santorum if he was referring to the shooting of Trayvon Martin in 2012, but time was running out and the panel discussion ended.

Santorum got the last word in, saying, “This president could’ve [brought us] together. He didn’t. He divided us.”

Why is America So Racially charged? This week on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

ABC has cancelled Roseanne Barr’s popular scripted television show after the feisty star went on a Twitter rampage on Tuesday morning referring to former President Barack Obama’s advisor Valerie Jarrett as an ape..

The cancellation announcement came after Roseanne apologized for her offensive tweets and openly lesbian comic Wanda Sykes said she was quitting the show.

Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” Barr tweeted, referring to Jarrett, who is mixed race and originally from Iran.

In other tweets Roseanne mentioned Chelsea Clinton and George Soros as Nazi sympathizers.

The revamped Roseanne Show enjoyed high ratings but was short lived as millions of Trump supporters tuned into the show.

I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste.

Unfortunately her apology was a little too late.

Stand or Be Fined!!!…..The NFL Has New Policy Requiring Players to Stand

During the National Anthem or be fined!!!

Former 49er’s quarterback Colin Kaepernick began protesting the flag — which he called a symbolism of oppression of black people in America back in 2016.

After public backlash, Kaepernick got off the bench and kneeled on the sidelines. A few players joined him there, but the protest didn’t become a movement in the NFL until 2017, when President Donald Trump criticized Kaepernick and others for kneeling during the anthem.

According to the NY Daily News, players will have two options: stay in the locker room during the National Anthem or stand “and show respect for the flag and the Anthem.”
Team owners will be fined an unspecified amount if players defy the new policy and bring attention to themselves by kneeling on the sidelines.

The new rule will take effect at the start of the 2018-19 NFL season.

Emmitt Louis Till’s Accuser admits she LIED!!!

carolyn-bryant-young-oldHere we are some (60) sixty years later and Carolyn Bryant Donham (pictured above), the woman who lied on 14 year old Emmitt Louis Till which resulted in his brutal murder; admits that it was all a LIE!!! The now eighty two year old woman admits that her story was fabricated.

emmettOn the morning of August 24, 1955, Emmett Till, a 14-year-old black child from Chicago, skipped church in Money, Mississippi and went to a local grocery store. While there, he saw Carolyn Bryant, the 21-year-old white woman who owned the store with her husband Roy Bryant. Till supposedly whistled or flirted with Bryant. On the morning of August 28, 1955, Till was taken from the home of his uncle, whom he was visiting in Money, Mississippi and killed. Roy Bryant and his half-brother J. W. Milam were acquitted of the murder, but later admitted to it in Look Magazine.

Emmitt Till’s Coffin Photo. His mother wanted the world to see what was done to her son. The picture appeared in Jet Magazine in 1955.

Bryant never talked about her role in the murder until 2007, when she spoke with author Timothy Tyson. In the interview with Tyson, Bryant admitted that the story she told during the trial was a lie.

At the time of her interview with Tyson, Bryant was 72. She is still alive is now 82 yeas old. Her family wants to keep her current location private and she has not done any further interviews.

Carolyn Bryant Donham is writing her own memoirs, which won’t be made public for another 30 Years. In the meantime, Emmitt Till never lived a full life, his life was brutally cut short behind a white racist woman and her LIE!!! His mother suffered, his cousins haunted and sixty years later, we get an admission to what was already known as a lie to begin with.

emmettgraveThe saddest part of it all is, time has pasted, Till’s murderers are dead, the case is still open, yet justice never served.

Dylan Roof Sentenced to DEATH!!!

aabttlvA U.S. jury on Tuesday condemned white supremacist Dylan Roof to death for the hate-fueled killings of nine black parishioners at a Bible study meeting in a Charleston, South Carolina, church in 2015.

The same jury last month found Roof, 22, guilty of 33 federal charges, including hate crimes resulting in death, for the shootings at the historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Jurors deliberated for less than three hours. Roof stared straight ahead as the judge read through the jury’s verdict findings before announcing his death sentence.

Roof, who represented himself for the penalty phase, was unrepentant during his closing argument earlier in the day. He told jurors he still felt the massacre was something he had to do and did not ask that his life be spared.

Roof’s hate was apparent as he was unremorseful during testimony of the entire trial.

Roof still faces a trial on murder charges in state court, where prosecutors also are seeking the death penalty.
