Woman Died in Hospital Parking Lot After Being Forcibly Removed from Emergency Room

A Florida woman who was forcibly removed from a hospital lay in the parking lot for 18 minutes before a doctor readmitted her. Barbara Dawson, 57, later died of a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in her lung).

Dawson’s ordeal at Calhoun-Liberty Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida was recorded by police audio and dash cam video on Dec. 21.

The audio and video were released this week to the family’s attorney, Benjamin L. Crump.

The audio and 2 ½-hour video, which the family and media reviewed for the first time at a press conference, shows a Blountstown police officer arriving at the hospital.

The officer is heard on audio attempting to persuade Dawson to leave the hospital’s emergency room.

Dawson sounds panicked as she tells the officer she can’t breathe, according to a report on Yahoo News.

The officer — or a nurse (it isn’t clear who) — disconnected Dawson’s oxygen tubing and turned off her oxygen.

The officer held Dawson by her arm, and nudged her along as he led her out of the hospital.

Dash cam video shows Dawson collapse about 1 to 2 feet from the police car while the officer reaches for his car keys.

The officer is heard on audio saying Dawson is being “non-compliant,” “faking” and refusing to get in the police car.

A nurse checked Dawson’s pulse while she lay propped against the police car — in obvious distress.

The cop and the nurse tried multiple times to get Dawson into the police car.

Finally, after 18 minutes, a doctor came out, said Dawson’s condition “appeared to have changed” and readmitted her to the hospital.

Dawson died later that day. The hospital listed Dawson’s cause of death as pulmonary embolism caused by morbid obesity. Dawson weighed 270 pounds at time of death.

Dawson’s family is planning to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the hospital and the Blountstown Police Department.

Multiple agencies are investigating Dawson’s death.

Trooper Who Arrested Sandra Bland Indicted For Lying In Police Report

If he lied in the report, he’s lied about everything else!

A grand jury indicted Brian Encinia today on perjury for the conduct related to the contentious traffic stop of Sandra Bland. The black woman who was eventually arrested for assault and then died three days later in jail, allegedly of suicide.

Dashcam video shows the traffic stop quickly became confrontational, with Encinia holding a stun gun and yelling, “I will light you up!” after Bland refused to get out of her car.

Encinia is accused of lying about how he removed Bland from her vehicle.

The same grand jury declined last month to indict sheriff’s officials or jailers. This is the only charge Encinia will face. The grand jury failed to charge him with anything in addition.

Gunmen Seize Federal Building In Oregon

Oregon StandoffA group of gunmen seized control of an empty federal building in remote Burns, Oregon, on Saturday and announced how they plan to occupy the facility for “years”. They then called for “patriots” to join them — and bring more guns.

What the hell is this about? And why have they NOT been arrested or ceased?

These gunmen include, the two sons of Cliven Bundy, the rancher whose legal battle with the government over grazing rights culminated in an armed standoff with federal authorities near Bunkerville, Nevada, in 2014.

In a statement they tweeted:

“We’re planning on staying here for several years,” Ammon Bundy said in a video posted to Facebook Saturday. “We’re calling people to come out here and stand…. We have a place for you to stay warm. We have food planned and prepared. We need you to bring your arms. And we need you to come to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.” His brother Ryan Bundy told The Oregonian’s Ian Kullgren the militiamen are “willing to kill and be killed if necessary”

The Bundy’s and other militia members have gathered in Burns in recent weeks to protest the return to prison of Dwight Hammond Jr. and his son Steven, two local ranchers who were convicted in 2012 of arson, imprisoned, released and given new, harsher sentences last year. But there’s no evidence the Hammonds are involved in the occupation of the federal building, and they told The Oregonian through their attorneys on Sunday that they plan to return to prison on Monday as ordered.

This story is outrageous because we haven’t heard how local, state, and federal authorities are responding? So far, it looks as if law enforcement officials are steering clear of the mayhem.

A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service spokesperson told CNN that federal officials, including the Bureau of Land Management, are monitoring the situation.

Since Some Of My Readers Just Need To Know!

Some of you are anxious to know where I’ve been dining on my down time, like any good blogger I’m compelled to tell.

I had dinner recently at Travinia’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar. The food was exceptional and the service impeccable.

The menu variety was huge however I opted for the Orzo spinach salad with shrimp (close to what’s shown above). The ambiance was comfortable and romantic, with it’s soft music and candle lit dinner tables. The scene was alive, the cost was average and well worth the experience.

Then on yesterday, I dined out at “Cracker Barrel” restaurant, where almost everything on the menu was “Fat, Fat and more Fat!”

It was off the hook on gravies and high in cholesterol count. I felt fat from reading the menu alone.

Although this restaurant is big on breakfast, I was there with friends for a late lunch/early dinner.

My choice for a meal was, fried shrimp, mixed vegetables, a mixed green salad and French fries. The food was good but would I eat here again? Probably not.

Ok guys catch you later got eat the breakfast my brother made me. Grits, eggs and cinnamon toast. He can keep the “Jimmy Dean” maple country sausage. Ugh!

Bill Cosby, Conversations Of A Sistah, Rape, Rape Allegations

America’s #1 Dad, Bill Cosby Charged With Sexual Assault.

The comedian was charged today for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his home 12 years ago — the first criminal charges brought against the comedian out of the torrent of allegations that destroyed his good-guy image as America’s #1 Dad.

This case sets the stage for perhaps the biggest Hollywood celebrity trial of this era and could send the 78-year-old “pudding pop” comedian to prison in the twilight of his life and barrier-breaking career.

Prosecutors accused him of rendering former Temple University employee Andrea Constand unable to resist, by plying her with pills and wine, then penetrating her with his fingers without her consent, when she was unconscious or unaware of what was happening.

She was “frozen, paralyzed, unable to move,” Montgomery County District Attorney-elect Kevin Steele said in announcing the charges. He said it is unclear what type of pills Constand was given, but he noted that Cosby has admitted giving Quaaludes to women he wanted to have sex with.

Cosby acknowledged under oath a decade ago that he had sexual contact with Constand but said it was consensual. Calls to his attorneys were not immediately returned.

He is to be arraigned this afternoon on a charge of aggravated indecent assault, punishable by five to 10 years behind bars and a $25,000 fine.
