“A Double-life, Men living on the downlow!” This Thursday on Conversations Of A Sistah

down-low-brothers

They date women out in the open, some even marry to fit into society’s mole of expectancy, then have homosexual relationships on the side; this is considered as “men living on the down low”. Then you have those single men, who keep the company of women, claim them as girlfriends, talk about marriage but never marry, another strong possibility of a “man living on the down low”.

These men identify and “Front” as heterosexual, but have sex with men; some avoid sharing this information even if they have female sexual partners. Some people call it being slick but I call it being SICK!!!!

In today’s society, homosexuality is frowned upon as living in the norm. Man on man action is considered a perversion regardless of how many rights and privileges they fight to obtain. Due to these fighting issues and strong controversies, men who desire other men live the life of homosexuality behind closed doors. They keep this life a secret because as a “male friend” of mine recently said, “they don’t want to be ridiculed or judged due to the opinions and belief of others”. For this reason down low men don’t want to be under the radar or ostracized for being GAY, so they stay “in the closet” or down low.

Pictured here, is the beautiful Miss Ondrea L. Davis, author of the book, “How could my husband be GAY?” Ondrea, 35, is not only an author and speaker but the mother of three children, who has penned this inspirational true story; not only because her husband was gay but because she felt “this was an issue no one else wanted to talk about.”

Oh but on “Conversations Of A Sistah” we’re going to “talk about it!!!!” This will be an explosive conversation that you won’t want to miss!

Ondrea has expressed, that she will take whatever questions you may have for her regarding this topic for the show. In fact, Ondrea “welcomes your questions” those questions within reason, of course.

So tune into “Conversations Of A Sistah” this Thursday night, December 6, 2012 at 8:00 PM on “Conversations Live“.

As usual you can sound off here or send your questions to Ondrea for the show at conversationsofasistah@readywriterproductincompany.com

You can access the show at any of the “Conversation” links in this post or follow the link for my show segment here!

Side note: The photo of the two men (in bed) above, are in no way related to my guest mentioned in this post or the title of her book. The photo was randomly chosen for this post, to fit my topic for this week; point…blank…period!

Alex Hargrove (AKA Lexy) …is the winner of tonight’s trivia question and will recieve a complimentary copy of Ondrea Davis’ book, “How could my husband be GAY?”

Congratulations Alexis! And thank you for tuning in!

George Zimmerman’s Attorneys Release PHOTOSHOPPED Image

Zimmerman-photoshop

The attorneys for murder suspect George Zimmerman attempted to inflame the public by releasing an obviously Photoshopped picture of their client yesterday.

It’s no coincidence that this shamefully Photoshopped image is released just days after Zimmerman begged the public for more donations to support his lavish lifestyle.

The national media won’t tell you that the image is Photoshopped, even though a photo taken by police the SAME NIGHT shows no swelling, redness or deformity of Zimmerman’s nose.

The good quality police evidence photo taken AFTER the new photo shows superficial scratches on Zimmerman’s face. The police photos do not prove Zimmerman’s claims that he was in a life and death struggle with the unarmed teenager when he shot and killed him in March.

On Wednesday, the AP reported that Zimmerman had created a new defense fund to solicit money from the gullible public. In return for donations, contributors would receive cards with Zimmerman’s signature — an indication that Zimmerman is selling his signature for money.

“Michelle Obama “WOWS” at The Kennedy Center Honors”

Michelle Obama
Michelle Obama

Stars from New York, Hollywood and the music world joined President Barack and First lady Michelle Obama at the White House on Sunday night to salute the honorees, whose ranks included: actor Dustin Hoffman, Chicago bluesman Buddy Guy, ballerina Natalia Makarova, David Letterman and rock band Led Zeppelin at The Kennedy Center Honors.

Michelle Obama was sharp in a dazzling gold evening gown and although the White House declined to name the designer, we know it’s a Michael Kors gold lame chiffon gown from his Resort 2013 collection.

I’m not always crazy about what our first lady wears but when her outfit is a winner (like this one), I have to talk about it.

Is Michelle Obama sharp or what?

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Reach An Agreement

halle-berry_gabriel-aubry

Halle Berry and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry have reached an “amicable” agreement following the violent Thanksgiving Day altercation involving Aubry and Halle’s fiance, Olivier Martinez.

Halle’s attorney Blair Berk and Gabriel’s attorney Shawn Holley were all smiles as they left court Thursday. Both sides agreed to drop their restraining orders against each other, TMZ reports.

Rather than address the media, Blair held up a piece of paper with the handwritten statement: “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”

The action comes just days after Aubry’s attorneys released graphic images of the horrific wounds Aubry suffered at the hands of Martinez, a trained boxer.

Aubry’s camp claims Martinez, 46, was angry that Aubry won a legal challenge preventing Halle from moving with her daughter, Nahla, to France, where Martinez maintains his home.

Since this incident and Halle’s latest court drama, the internet is all abuzz talking about Halle’s history of having failed relationships. Halle’s been dating Martinez since 2010.
