“Twerking and Jerking” What’s with this booty popping craze? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Miley Cyrus has the media all abuzz and folks just can’t seem to stop talking about her “twerking rendition” on the VMA’s last week.

As Cyrus took to lap dancing Robin Thicke’s crotch onstage, onlookers were shocked and seemingly surprised that the once innocent Hanna Montana, seemed to be totally turned out for raunchiness. Between the crotch popping twerking and her 15 inch tongue sticking out her mouth, I don’t know which annoyed me the most.

Now you-tube is on fire with “how to” videos on twerking, while other media outlets are speaking from which this disgraceful gyrating derived.

My thing is this, why is this dance so seemingly popular when it is both degrading and vulgar? Popping your rectum from strong points of the pelvis is not dignified nor is it a proper display of self-respect in public.

I personally don’t think the dance is suitable nor do I consider it a form of art such as; ballet, Latin or jazz.

“Conversations Of A Sistah” Will be on a “2 week” Hiatus!!

All work and no play can wear a Writer, Author, Daughter, Blog-talk Host, Founder and CEO sistah down, which is why we are taking a two-week hiatus to regroup.

The show will return to its regular weekly broadcast live on Wednesday July 31st at 8:00 PM.

In the meantime, tell us what two shows you’d like to hear in our absence.

Our cutoff for selection will be Sunday August 14th…….I’ll be reading and listening, so remember the majority will win!

“Conversations Of A Sistah” on “Conversations Live” will be moving from Thursday nights at 8:00 PM to either Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday nights at 8:00 PM as of January 2013.

Producer and Conversations Media Mogul, Cyrus Webb is moving my segment to make room for his upcoming Book show that will be taking that Thursday Blog talk radio evening slot.

Any who… I don’t know what to do, so I need the help of my readers and listeners, what day of the week do you think I should choose? Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday nights?? My segment will air at the same time (8:00 PM) just a different day.

Cast your vote below as many times as you’d like and I’ll announce the dominating choice on my last show of the year on Thursday, December 20th at 8:00 PM.
