FAKE is the role, when all that “glitters” sure ain’t gold! Tonight on Conversations Of A Sistah!

PlasticChristianity-455x326

Just because something looks attractive does not mean it is genuine or valuable. That’s why you NEVER go by the appearance of anything. Most of the time what you see is not the reality, the outside appearance generally hides all the truth behind what’s real.

Any individual can be judged by his deeds and attitude, when many times, aptitude or fearlessness is found to be a fake one.

In today’s society, everybody appears to be a Christian, quoting scripture and claiming “what thus saith the Lord” when God is far from them. They wear big rings and huge crosses with the shiny bling, when the core of their being is FAKE. God knows the heart!

One has to understand that all those metals that are shiny and yellow in color need not be gold, they might be painted yellow or just any other yellow metal. So one have be aware of the appearance and judge everything. So it is better to keep in mind “All that glitters is not gold”.

Join me tonight at 8:00 PM on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via “Conversations Live” as I talk about “Fake Christians” when their walk is not real and how the devil is in the details.

Access the show at any of the “Conversations Links” in this post or right here!

In the meantime, sound off here!

President Obama’s ‘Twin’ Cast as ‘Satan’ in History Channel’s ‘The Bible’

obama-the-bible_550x310

Some people are ridiculous when it comes down to their exaggerations. There is supposedly a striking resemblance between Satan in the History Channel’s series ‘The Bible’ and President Barack Obama.

I don’t see it; but the media is having a field day with it by saying there’s a comparison. The show’s ‘Satan’ character is dark-skinned, while President Barack Obama, who is mixed, is more fair-skinned.

From ONTD:

Coincidence, or not-so-subtle political commentary? A major hit already, History Channel’s 10-part miniseries The Bible is stirring up extra attention for its casting. The role of Satan, i.e. the bad guy, is played by the actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouazanni, who, thanks to makeup and other production tricks, bears a startling resemblance to President Barack Obama.

The resemblance was pointed out on Twitter while the show still aired on Sunday. Glenn Beck, the Christian conservative broadcaster who has called the series “one of the most important shows in decades,” sent out a tweet with a screenshot. Beck, who refuses to use Obama’s name, referred to the president as “That Guy.”

Woman preaching with her breast exposed

My business administrator saw this video posted on my Facebook page yesterday and forwarded it to me for my opinion and response.

First of all, the woman in the video is being called a preacher but her title can’t be officially established, anyone can preach the Word of God and the devil knows scripture better than the best preachers. The Bible says to “try the Spirit and know whether it be of God” 1 John: 4:1.

In order to deliver anyone lost, you must first speak the Word of truth and she is indeed speaking truth, watered down with a bunch of Amen’s however, her breast are inappropriately exposed. The Bible states; for women to dress modestly that means, in a proper, well-mannered fashion—certainly not in a provocative, outlandish or excessive way. This woman in the video is clearly out-of-place, which probably explains why she’s sitting in somebody’s kitchen and not standing in the platform of a church or institution.

She calls her ministry, “the gospel from a stripper’s pole”

Her message is: “A Forked Tongue” deliver me from these back door preachers!

Pastor Jamal Bryant rebukes EBONY for accusing him of impregnating a minor

Pastor_Jamal_Bryant_457x382

Pastor Jamal Bryant (pictured above) wrote an open letter to EBONY magazine, rebuking them for accusing him of impregnating a teenage member of his congregation.

Bryant, a single father of 3 beautiful daughters, admitted that he cheated on his wife in an open letter to EBONY titled “Pastor Jamal Bryant Rebukes EBONY”.

“In 2007 I participated in an extramarital affair that resulted ultimately in the termination of my marriage to my incredible wife Gizelle,” he wrote. “NO minors were involved but my minor children have been affected.” Not what is known and what’s rumored; the word swirling on the religious roster in Baltimore is, Pastor Bryant indeed impregnated a woman in his congregation maybe not a minor at the time but a young parishioner in his church.

Bryant went on to call the accusation that he slept with a minor, “categorically and completely untrue.”

Pastor Bryant writes:

For 67 years Ebony Magazine has been the drum beat for culture in the African-American community. John Johnson its beloved founder dedicated his life to safe guarding our image with great integrity.

The March 2013 edition has left a hole in my heart. On page 124 they published that it’s alleged I impregnated a 17-year-old member of my church. This accusation is categorically and completely untrue. To publish this with absolutely no source lends itself to reckless endangerment to my children, my congregation and my community.

Ebony is not the National Enquirer. A higher standard is required and the statement jeopardizes my ministry to the youth in my church and community. So it is on moral grounds that a retraction is necessary.

In 2007 I participated in an extramarital affair that resulted ultimately in the termination of my marriage to my incredible wife Gizelle. NO minors were involved but my minor children have been affected. I don’t want them to have to live through any further unnecessary pain.

Matthew 18:15 say’s if your brother has sinned against you go and tell him his fault. I solicit your continued prayers for my family, forgiveness for myself and accountability from Ebony magazine.

Flawed but faithful. I remain,

Jamal- Harrison Bryant (A Father and Pastor)
