Some black men don’t want to date, marry or fall in love with a black woman. And as shocking as this may sound, believe it or not, some men prefer to date outside of their race. There are several reasons for this and for the most part, it’s self-hatred.
In her written blog post, Tamyara Brown states:
“I live in a world where pale skin is accepted and dark skin isn’t for women. I don’t want my daughter from the day she is born called ugly. It is why I rather marry a Latina, or Asian woman she is guaranteed to be beautiful.”

Some of us have this fear in our hearts and in our spirits with uncertainty about the future. Everyone fears at some point in life however, our trust and faith must be bigger than our fears. The bigger your trust the smaller your fear becomes. And the more you trust the more you become a conduit for miracles.
We grew up believing in Santa Clause, the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny, thinking all of these fictional characters were tied to our religious beliefs.
