New Birth is having an Anniversary celebration but…you have to bring your own food!!!

I’m not lying Ceo family…New Birth Baptist Church in Lithonia, Ga is celebrating their pastor (Eddie Long’s) 25th Pastoral Anniversary and they’re asking their members to “BYOF” – Bring Your Own Food!!!! I’ve underlined it in red on the flyer above for all to see the reference with their very own eyes.

The flyer advertising the event at New Birth Baptist lists ticket prices at $25 for adults and $10 for children. Yes and in addition to “bringing your own food”, they are also charging their members to enter the celebration as well.

This is a far cry from the lavish events New Birth have held in the past especially since the basis of Eddie Long’s teachings are on prosperity gospel.

New Birth was rocked by scandal last year after Bishop Eddie Long was forced to settle sexual misconduct lawsuits brought against him by five young men [click here and/or search Eddie Long in the search engine if you missed that].

When it’s not of God, it is yet BUT for a season!

Evelyn & Chad more publicity for their reality…

They will do anything I guess, to promote their wacked reality show, which will premier September 3 on VH1. I don’t even believe their relationship is real. I don’t easily fall for a hype that is just that., HYPE: But Evelyn and Chad got into a fight over a condom receipt found in the couple’s sports car. Chad is now sitting in a Florida County jail while Evelyn is healing from stitches to her forehead.

Johnson allegedly head-butted Lozada during an argument, says the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and when cops arrived to the scene, Lozada had lacerations on her forehead.

Our sources say Lozada has been at the hospital for several house and her injury required stitches.

According to our sources, the fight started when Lozada found a receipt for condoms in the center of the couple’s Maserati and confronted Johnson about it. A verbal argument ensued.

We’re told at some point during the argument, Johnson head-butted Lozada. According to reports, Johnson told police he butted heads with Lozada by accident.

Johnson is reportedly still in custody and will have to go before a judge before he can be released.

Johnson and Lozada were married last month (July 4) in Miami after Johnson proposed in November 2010 with a massive 10-carat diamond ring.

James Brown’s daughter, Venisha Brown arrested…

Venisha Brown, daughter of the late James Brown (pictured in both photos above), is being held in the Richmond County Jail, in connection with a hit-and-run in North Augusta, South Carolina. Authorities say Brown was wanted for hit and run and possession of a stolen vehicle. The 47-year-old is being held on a more than $5,000 bond for a string of charges. She’s accused of stealing a car on one side of the river and trying to run over a co-worker on the other. Augusta, GA and South Carolina are so close, the states are just a river and a bridge apart.

Brown is said to have stolen a church vehicle/van, running down a church worker with the van and various other violations and charges.

Brown is facing several charges in both South Carolina and Georgia. She will be charged with grand theft auto, assault and battery, leaving the scene of an accident and receiving stolen goods.

Venisha Brown is the one daughter of James Brown who can emanate his dance moves so well. She squared off her father’s dance moves with M.C. Hammer in honor of her father at his funeral services in 2006.

“Juanita Bynum Confesses to being with women”…

Is anybody even following this woman anymore? She has gone from one extreme to another concerning her personal life, which appears to be off balanced and unstable emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Bynum recently admitted on the V-103 radio station that attraction to women was among her many struggles.

“I’ve done it all. I did the drugs. I’ve been with men. I’ve been with women,” “It’s not a line. It’s my life.”

Because she’s had those experiences and made those mistakes, Juanita said “she’s better equipped to help lost souls who seek her counsel.” Is she serious? You have to be careful to whom you seek counsel from, people.

Juanita, whose marital problems were made public in 2007 when her husband physically assaulted her in public, is now divorced. She didn’t elaborate on whether her sexual relationships with women were trysts or full-fledged relationships, but she believes she was depending on physical satisfaction to fill a void in her life, and that led to more problems.

I was just having a conversation with my oldest brother, Henry, the other night and he said and I quote: “when you’re grounded in your faith, temptations should not be a struggle for you but if you yield and give into temptation, then you’re not strong and grounded in your faith”.

Fantasia Barrino broke down on stage during an emotional set at her birthday concert in Trinidad…

Witnesses claim Fantasia burst into tears while singing her hit song ‘Even Angels’ and told the crowd:

“This year, we lost Whitney Houston…They just wouldn’t leave her alone. They did not understand that she was only human. We lose family, friends, all for the love of money. The only person who will never leave you is Jesus.”

Maybe Fantasia became emotional because she was touched by the song? Maybe the song reminded her of Whitney Houston? There could be many reasons but thanks to loyal CEO reader Nicole for the story tip and photo.
