Former LA Lakers star Lamar Odom had a “significant amount” of cocaine in his system and suffered “several strokes” according to Us magazine. The 35-year-old father of 3 was found unresponsive and in full respiratory arrest in a VIP room at a Nevada brothel on Tuesday.

A source close to the family tells Us Weekly that Odom suffered several strokes during the night while hospitalized in intensive care at a Las Vegas hospital. Odom is on life support in critical condition.

Odom is on a ventilator and is not expected to recover from his brain damage.

The 6-foot-10-inch center was found by two employees of the Love Ranch around 3 p.m. (6 p.m. ET) Tuesday. Witnesses described mucus coming out of his nose and mouth. He was unresponsive and not breathing when emergency responders arrived.

The brothel’s owner, Dennis Hof, told gossip tabloid TMZ, Odom been partying at the ranch with hookers since Saturday. Hof said Odom was “aided” by a herbal drug similar to Viagra.

The Woman who adopted Florida teen, on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Hey “Conversations Of A Sistah” family., Do you remember this story? I wrote about it almost a year ago, about fifteen (15) year old Davion Navar Henry, who had been in foster care his entire life and desperate for a family to call his own, so he had taken matters into his own hands by going to a local church and pleading for a loving family to adopt him. It all started, after he learned, his biological mother, who gave birth to him while she was in prison, had passed away, that’s when he asked his caseworker, Connie Going, if she would take him to church so that he could make his request known to the people there and she agreed.

Davion’s story was not only heart breaking but so compelling it made prime-time news. As it turns out, the state didn’t find Davion a home, so he asked Connie Going, the Eckerd adoption specialist in charge of his case; if she would become his mom. Apparently Davion felt comfortable enough in knowing that Connie would take care of him and provide him the family structure he yearned to have. Connie Goings in turn, left the Eckerd adoption agency after many years and her adoption of Davion was finalized on April 22,2015.

Join me tonight at 6:30 p.m. on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via blog talk radio, as I sit down with Ms. Connie Goings, as she’ll share her story and journey with the challenges she may have faced with the adoption of Davion Navar Henry and how it’s adjusted into his new life as her son.

50 Cent Blames ‘Empire’ Ratings Drop on Too Much ‘Gay Stuff’

50 cents regarding Empire

50 Cent thinks he knows why “Empire’s” ratings dipped in its second episode of the season — too much “gay stuff.”

“There are 3 million less viewers who tuned into last weeks Empire episode!!!! did you watch it?” Fiddy said in his Instagram post. “We could not take the extra gay stuff or celebrity stuff last night!!!!”

50 Cent chimed in with his own commentary by urging Taraji P. Henson‘s “Empire” character “Cookie” to call him for help.

“EMPIRES TV RATINGS TOOK A HUGE HIT. Ok I’ll stop now. COOKIE CALL ME BABY. I’ll tell every body to watch the show for you. LOL,” he wrote.

“Empire” attracted a massive 16 million viewers during its premiere last week. But the ratings dipped on Wednesday nights viewing to 13.7 million viewers. While those are still huge numbers, 50 Cent has a long-running spat with “Empire” and jumped at the chance to gloat.

The rapper, who in the past has accused the Fox series of copying the promotional campaign of his Starz drama “Power,” mocked the Fox series last week on Instagram after it took a dig at him in its Season 2 premiere.

The rapper is being petty no doubt because his hit series “Power” does not compare to “Empire”.
