Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana are Married

Janet_Jackson_married

Janet Jackson, who famously kept her marriage to Rene’ Elizondo a secret many moons ago, just announced she and billionaire Wissam Al Mana have been married since last year…

Janet tells ET Online

“The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true. Last year we were married in a quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony.”

“Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favourite children’s charities. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.”

Dwayne Wade’s Other Girl/Jumpoff Writes Letter To Gabrielle Union

gabby-union-and-dwyane-wade

So Gabriel Union is finding out that she apparently is not the only one. One of Dwayne Wade’s jump-offs ran her mouth and threw it up in Gabrielle Union‘s face that her man, Dwayne Wade is indeed a whore. In a letter sent to MediaTakeOut, the NBA baller’s alleged jump off wrote a letter to Gabby and based on her facts, I think it’s safe to say she was definitely in D-Wade’s house.

Seems like the Miami Heat has made its appearance on media takeout yesterday. So its only right I put Dwayne Wade on blast. First and foremost I’d like to thank ***** Wade, his cousin for booking my numerous of flights.

OH yea, hi Ms. Union. Good to see you stuck around and have a few more pieces of clothing inside of his house. The kitchen looks great by the way. I love the new counter tops. I would also like to thank Rich, the chef for his amazing breakfast. His cookies are the best.

And last but not least I’d like to thank Dwayne for always making me feel comfortable on your side of the bed. Hiding pictures in your drawer. You know the night stand next to your side of the bed, the one with the two drawers. Think the picture is the one with you and Sanaa Lathan in it.

Also Gabrielle you are a little to old to be making Valentines day Photo albums. Leave that to the young girls your man cheats on you with. Don’t believe me, I took a picture of the picture.

FYI your man likes fat asses you might need to get you one. Last but not least. I will send you a picture of the bags your man left in the hotel room I fucked him in. Lol!!

Ladies, if he cheats on his wife, he’ll cheat on you.

Happy-Valentines-Day

Happy Valentine’s day “CEO readers” and “Conversations Of A Sistah” listeners,

Today is Valentines Day and I’ve been flooded with the “I’m single this Valentine’s Day” email messages all day long.

People please Stop the madness!!!!

If you’re single this Valentine’s day celebrate you, ladies get a pedi or a manicure and have dinner with your girlfriends. Love yourself, focus on self and concentrate on self. Fellas you do the same, while loving your mothers and honoring your sisters, even if it means giving out single roses or a kind smile. Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare yourselves for when that “special someone” does come along.

Remember: happiness is not based on being with someone else, nor does having someone define who you are.

Celebrating Our History, Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Presentation1

To kick off Black History month, we remember Phillis Wheatley, a slave child of seven or eight and sold to John and Susanna Wheatley in Boston on July 11, 1761.  Her first name was apparently derived from the ship that carried her to America, The Phillis. She was the first African American to publish a book, an accomplished African-American woman of letters and First African American woman to earn a living from her writing.

Phillis’ popularity as a poet both in the United States and England ultimately brought her freedom from slavery on October 18, 1773.  She even appeared before General Washington in March, 1776 for her poetry and was a strong supporter of independence during the Revolutionary War. She felt slavery to be the issue which separated whites from true heroism: whites can not “hope to find/Devine acceptance with the Almighty mind” when “they disgrace/And hold in bondage Africa’s blameless race.”

Join me Wednesday February 6 at 8:00 PM for “Conversations Of A Sistah” on “Conversations Live” as I discuss Phillis Wheatley’s accomplishments as a woman and a poet of her day.

Bobbi Kristina, not happy with Cissy’s tell-all

cissy-houston-bobbi-kristina

Whitney Houston‘s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has slammed her grandmother’s tell-all book about her late mother and vowed never to read it.

Houston drowned in the bathtub of her Los Angeles hotel suite on the eve of the Grammy Awards last year, and her mother Cissy Houston has penned a book, Remembering Whitney, detailing her side of the story and her memories of the superstar.

But Bobbi Kristina, Houston’s only child from her marriage to RB singer Bobby Brown, has spoken out to publicly distance herself from her grandmother and urge fans not to purchase the book.

Now why do this publicly? Why communicate through the media? Bobbi Kristina’s actions further confirm that she had no real relationship with her grandmother. And just like Whitney distanced herself from her mother because she didn’t tolerate the drug abuse, that second generation curse is being relived by her daughter. It’s obvious Whitney didn’t teach her daughter to respect her grandmother. Even if you disagree with her, you never do it publicly.

In a series of scathing messages on her Twitter.com page, the reality Tv star has announced that she and her rumoured boyfriend Nick Gordon, who was informally adopted by Whitney, don’t support the book.

She writes, “Anything concerning my grandmother’s book, I and @nickgordon of course personally have nothing to do with… I haven’t read (it) and won’t… I find it to be disrespectful to my mother and me being her daughter won’t tolerate it (sic).”

This situation is a mess!!!! And the fact that it’s being hashed out publicly is tacky and dysfunctional.
