The NFL Boycott, Let’s Discuss Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, has been struggling to find a new team since opting out of his contract last season. It all started when Kaepernick took to his knees during the national anthem, instead of standing during each game. Kaepernick staged a one-man protest last season by kneeling for African-Americans instead of standing for the national anthem before each week’s game.

But critics have said his refusal to stand for the “Star-Spangled Banner” has been disrespectful to this country and its service men. Therefore, the NAACP, The NYPD, The National Action Network and Kaepernick supporters across the board are calling for a boycott of the NFL games until Kaepernick gets an equal opportunity at making a roster for the upcoming season.

Looks like other players are joining in on the protest.

‘Racism, Nazism and White Supremacy’ Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Did President Donald Trump, light every one of those torches in Charlottesville, VA this past weekend?

Yes, the white supremacists have always been with us. A parade of racist bigots is no surprise to anyone familiar with our history here in these United Snakes Of America, especially those who have been the target of hatred and violence for centuries.

But when the mob of white men marched in Charlottesville carrying flaming torches Friday night shouting “Heil Trump” as the curtain-raiser for a day of violent clashes with counter protesters that left three people dead, they showed the world that America is once again playing with fire. Only President Trump is the one with the match.

The Nazi and Confederate flags were equally chilling to the millions of Americans with vivid memories of relentless racial oppression, including lynchings, church bombings and assassinations at the hands of the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacist terrorists.

Join me “LIVE” on “Conversations Of A Sistah” at 6:30 p.m. EST for a discussion on Racism, Nazism and White SupremacyIs Charlottesville, VA coming to a town near you?

I will be taking your calls in the studio at 1-917-889-7872.

Can you recognize ‘the voice’ of the enemy? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Yes that’s right the enemy has a voice.

Case in point. The serpent. Sometimes he gets a little help from his human friends. Case in point. Goliath. Sometimes he talks in the form of spirits. Case in point. Legions. Sometimes he speaks through diviners and soothsayers. Bottom line. He knows how to talk and will do so through other people.

And, as for we humans, we know how to listen. Sometimes we know the enemy is speaking and we listen anyway. But all too often, we do not even recognize his voice at all and when you don’t recognize the voice of the enemy, he will rule or ruin your life.

Can you recognize ‘the voice’ of the enemy in your life?

Tune into “Conversations Of A Sistah” “LIVE” on blog talk radio at 6:30 p.m. EST with host Tracy L. Bell for her commentary on this perplexed subject, Can you recognize ‘the voice’ of the enemy?

We hope to meet you on the air.

Is Arguing a Natural Part of any Relationship? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Have you accepted arguing as being part of a relationship? Because some people DON’T.

I always hate to prescribe definitive answers to emotional or subjective subjects. However, I’ve been in relationships where we’ve never argued at all and I’ve been in relationships where we’ve argued all the time and neither relationship was relatively better than the other. Sometimes the relationships where you never ague might have benefited from just putting facts on the table, even if they make you uncomfortable.

So the question is, can you genuinely remove arguing from a relationship or do you believe arguing is a natural part of a healthy relationship? What happens if you find arguing detrimental but your partner finds it natural? What’s the difference between an argument and a debate?

Tune into “Conversations Of A Sistah” at 6:30 p.m. EST with Host Tracy L. Bell for her commentary on “Is arguing a natural part of every relationship?”

We will be taking calls in the studio on this subject at 1-917-889-7872.

The EGO, Tracy L. Bell - Blog Talk Radio, Tracy L. Bell Host Conversations Of A Sistah

“When your EGO Surpasses Logic” Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Do you know someone with a HUGE EGO? So huge that they’re willing to scarafice everything for it and throw caution to demise all for the sake of protecting their EGO. And Logic is a servant, not a master therefore, it’s important to distinguish between ego-driven feelings of envy, fear, greed, and the powerful positive urges of the heart, and those of love and compassion. Because Love has its own logic. Ego is considered a big impediment not only for a seeker desirous of God-realisation but it also dampens one’s life. One’s entire life!!

If our ego is high then we are unable to identify with the God Principle within us. In lay terms EGO leads to Pride, superiority, conceit and ‘I’ ness. Additionally, a person with a HIGH EGO is more susceptible to attacks by negative energies. To reduce EGO we have to listen within and what is happening all around us. When we make efforts to reduce EGO as per the directives of a spiritual authority then our spiritual progress happens rapidly.

Tune in tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah” at 6:30 p.m. EST with Host Tracy L. Bell as she addresses ‘When your EGO Surpasses Logic’.
