Sexual attraction is notorious for obliterating common sense and intuition in the most sensible people. Why? Because lust is an altered state of consciousness programmed by the primal urge to procreate.

Pure lust is based solely on physical attraction and fantasy–it often dissipates when the “real person” surfaces. Being in love doesn’t exclude lust. In fact, lust can lead to love. However, real love, not based on idealization or projection, requires time to get to know each other.

Love is an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person. It is a profound and caring attraction. On the other hand, lust is a strong desire of a sexual nature.

  38. I have always been debating with myself on this difference. I look at guys and I want them to look at me. Sometimes even imagine they are looking at me. Now I realize that it’s just lust which makes me selfish to want guys to feel about me the same way. Silly me.

  45. Heard the show, it was good but Tracy ion know had no fire behind it or something. maybe that’s because there was no music send off when the show ended. O_o still tryna figure it out.
