“Republican Official Paints Obama As A Chimp”

And she don’t think it’s racist.

Marilyn Davenport a republican official sent an email out on Friday of President Obama’s face super-imposed onto a chimp. The “family photo” features the commander-in-chief as a baby chimpanzee with two chimp parents.

Along with the offensive image sent out with the email was the tagline “Now you know why there’s no birth certificate.”

“I’m sorry if my email offended anyone,” she wrote, according to the OC Weekly. “I simply found it amusing regarding the character of Obama and all the questions surrounding his origin of birth.”

Davenport wrote she hadn’t considered that Obama is “half black.” “In fact, the thought never entered my mind until one or two other people tried to make this about race”.

The GOP committeewoman then blamed the “media” for trying to make a big deal out of the racist e-mail, insisting that the “average person knows and agrees is much ado about nothing.”

“Archaeologist Claims To Find Nails From Jesus’ Cross”

In 1990, Israeli archeologists excavating a 2,000-year-old burial cave, discovered two nails crafted by the Romans, but kept the discovery quiet. The two nails found are now prominently displayed in an Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

A canadian jouralist believes they may have tracked down two of the iron nails used to crucify Jesus to the cross.

In the segment “Nails of the Cross,” which will air on April 20 on the History Channel, host and producer Simcha Jacobovici attempts to discover why the researchers felt the nails were unimportant.

According to the Gospels, Caiaphas was the Jewish high priest who handed Jesus over to the Romans for crucifixion.

There’s a general scholarly consensus that the tomb where the nails were found likely belonged to Caiaphas. Nails at that time were a dime a dozen, but finding one in a tomb is exceedingly rare.

“Caiaphas is known for one thing only: the trial and Crucifixion of Jesus,” Jacobovici said. “He may have felt compelled to take these nails with him to his grave.”

There was also the belief among some ancient Jews that nails had healing powers “and were a ticket to the afterlife.”

“Rutgers Paid Snookie More Than Nobel Winning Novelist”

The Rutgers University Programming Association are all idiots!!!!! They paid Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of the reality TV show “Jersey Shore” $32,000 last Thursday to dish on all the bullshit of her hairstyle, that has made her famous. Two thousand dollars more than the $30,000 the university is paying Nobel-winning novelist Toni Morrison.

Morrison is scheduled to deliver Rutgers’ commencement address in May.

Freshman Adham Abdel-Raouf told The Star-Ledger of Newark he thought the price was a bargain given Snooki’s popularity. Another freshman, Dan Oliveto, said it was a waste of money –>(I-agree).

Snooki demonstrated to the students of Rutgers, on how she creates that stupid poof on top of her head and then gave them this advice: “Study hard, but party harder.”

“Women Defends Naming Her Restaurant -> Fat Ho Burger”

Lakita Evans is keeping the name of her new burger joint despite the growing protests from civic-minded people who say the name “Fat Ho Burgers” is offensive to a small segment of society.

Evans says that people are offended by the name simply because they aren’t familiar with urban slang. “It’s not calling people a ho. It’s just like they say, ‘Oooh that ho is big,’ or, ‘That ho is tight!” she told Fox News.

In the black community, the term “ho” is freely applied to people not things., and other local business owners are not in agreement with the name.

They think the 23-year-old is just using the name as a publicity stunt to draw attention to her business.

Pastor Marsha Martie, owner of the nearby Gospel Cafe, said: “[It] would’ve been nice to think a little more sensitively.”

But Evans, who tips the scales at over 200 lbs herself, says people should be more concerned with what’s going on in the world rather than the name of her burger joint.

“Look what’s going on in Japan. It’s like clear this world is not gonna get any better. Why cry and be depressed? The economy is bad. Somebody gotta keep a sense of humour around here,” she said.

“Singer Chris Brown Flipped Out At ABC Studios in NY”

According to online reports, Chris Brown flew into a rage at the ‘Good Morning America‘ studios in NYC following an on-air interview today. Brown was badgered about his legal problems surrounding the Rihanna incident. Brown was apparently upset because afterwards, the 21-year-old singer stormed into his dressing room and started screaming, cursing and throwing chairs.

Brown was on the ABC morning show Tuesday to promote his new album, “F.A.M.E.,” released the same day. During his interview with Robin Roberts, she asked him about the 2009 attack on his then-girlfriend, pop-singer Rihanna. Brown who was clearly agitated by Robin’s question tried to deflect the line of questioning, by saying “he was past that and wanted to focus on his new CD.”

“This album is what I want them to talk about and not what happened two years ago,” he said.

Witnesses say Brown was totally out of control and the police had to be called to his dressing room. One source says he kicked a window in his dressing room, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto the street. Luckily, no innocent bystanders were hit by the flying glass. 

Brown later tweeted: “I’m so over people bringing this past shit up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for their bullshit.”

I agree with Chris Brown, he and Rihanna’s incident is the past and it happened over two years ago however, he needs to learn to channel that anger better in handling the question with assurance in the future. His behind the scenes outburst will leave people to believe, he’s not entirely over the incident for one, or he has some serious hidden anger issues that need to be deal with.
