Snoop Dogg Smokes Weed With His Son…

A family that smokes marijuana/weed together, stays together?

Rapper Snoop Dogg (or Snoop Lion as he now prefers to be called) is defending the controversial photo (above) of his 18-year-old son Corde lighting his father’s bong. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper says, “My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical.” So it’s safe to say his kids are raising themselves.

“A lot of motherfucker’s don’t have a relationship with their kids, and that’s when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk. Me and my son is mellow. I’m his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me. What better way to get it than from the master?”

When the THR reporter arrived at Snoop’s home for the interview, the teen (Corde) was sitting in the backyard rolling joints.

Wow!!!!!

But getting high isn’t Corde’s only pastime, Snoop’s son wants to be a rapper like his famous father.

“He’s getting there,” Snoop says of his oldest child (he also has son Cordell, 15, and daughter Cori, 13), who has already written songs titled “Rollin, Rollin, Rollin … Stoned” and “Commemoration of Vaporization.” “I see myself in him, but he needs to walk in his own shoes.” Snoop says.

You can check out Snoop Dogg’s upcoming interview in The Hollywood Reporter.

Conversations Of A Sistah, What he said

“Why women should not think like men” Tune in Tonite at 8:00 PM on “Conversations Of A Sistah” with my guest: Mr. De Lacey Davis

***************************

Self-appointed relationship guru Steve Harvey’s skyrocketed success behind his “Think Like a Man” franchise, which landed him a best-selling novel, a movie box office hit and in addition; a daytime talk show. Steve Harvey has done an excellent job at convincing women that they are in a dire state of affairs concerning black men and relationships.

Well…I never brought into Steve Harvey’s hype; didn’t buy his book and had absolutely no desire to see the movie generated from the best-selling book. I recognized the twice divorced comedian as an opportunist. Touting the black male crisis as the source of all relationship woes, Harvey was in my opinion; giving black women an emotional crutch that effectively allows them to become devoid of any accountability for their own failed relationships.

But Oh NO!!! I’ve never gone with every wind of doctrine based upon self-appointed opinions. I’d rather stand with a biblical principle of truth, concerning relationships between man and woman.

De Lacy Davis, (pictured right above), our featured guest this Thursday, September 27th on “Conversations Of A Sistah” will differentiate Harvey’s craze of “Think Like A Man” based upon real principle.

“Personally, I don’t know too many men who’d want to date a woman who thinks like a man” De Lacy said in our brief phone conversation concerning the subject.

Davis, of De Lacy Davis Consultants, LLC; is a powerful force to be reckoned with, overcoming trials; yet triumphed in the integrity, experiences and challenges of what he holds to be true. Best selling author of Black Cops Against Police Brutality: A Crisis Action Plan and known in the community as Brother De Lacy…, Davis is not one to turn his back or hold his tongue in the face of injustice or when an issue is being hoodwinked.

With too many impressive accomplishments to list, De Lacy Davis has appeared on MTV, Nightline, C-Span, Oprah, Hard Ball, News Talk, Good Day New York, Positively Black and Ricki Lake, just to name a few.

The whole Steve Harvey craze a good marketing blend, but now De Lacy’s going to tell us, “Why women should NOT think like men”.

Hope you’ll tune into “Conversations of a Sistah” on “Conversations LiveThursday night at 8:00 P.M. I can guarantee you, you won’t want to miss it!!!

Chris Brown & Rihanna should cut the B.S. and just hook up already!

I’m so tired of all the speculation surrounding singers, Chris Brown and troubled Barbarian Rihanna regarding a reconciliation. First, they both attended a private Island party, then she confessed her undying love for him on Oprah’s Next Chapter, then the two shared a kissed at the VMA’s, now they supposedly have matching tattoos. Enough already!!!!

The problem is, she has forgiven him for the infamous 2009 beat down on her but the world has not. So what are these matching or identical tatoo’s about?

Rihanna’s latest ink, of an Egyptian goddess, is similarly etched into her midsection with the wings spread just below the “We Found Love” singer’s breasts.

Earlier this month, Brown showed off another new piece of body art, with a sketch of a woman’s face imprinted onto the right side of his neck.

Fans and the media noted that the tattoo bore a striking resemblance to a bruised and battered Rihanna, but Brown defended his ink against haters on Tuesday. “I’m an artist and this is art,” he wrote on his Twitter account. “Dia de los Muertos.”

Although Chris Brown supposedly have a girlfriend, he and Rihanna still remain friends. In the meantime I’m sure the media will still fuel the speculation off of their cryptic messages to each other.

Is Bill Clinton Obama’s Secret Weapon?

I caught part of Bill Clinton’s speech last night at the Democratic National convention, just in time to hear him expose all of the lies being told and taught, by the republican party. He even talked about how Paul Ryan is accusing Obama of using a crooked strategy on healthcare that he’s used during his own office in Congress.

Clinton, who has officially been dubbed the ‘black president’ gave a stirring, impactful speech endorsing President Obama for re-election at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC, last night. The media is saying that “Clinton did the dirty work of attacking the republican strategy for Obama, leaving President Obama to focus more on speaking about the economy than addressing his opponent”.

Clinton’s speech last night moved the crowd to their feet several times throughout the night. Then to cap it all off, President Obama walked out on stage just as Clinton was finished and the two embraced (as pictured above).

What are your thoughts on the Democratic National Convention and former President, Bill Clinton’s speech?

Two time NBA champ and Miami Heat star, Dwayne Wade shares his personal triumph and tribulations in his upcoming  memoir, A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball.

The father of two sons, Zaire & Zion, Wades book will be released on September 4, 2012 but it’s available for pre-order now at Amazon.

Although this book gives us insight into the mentors, coaches, and teammates who helped play a vital role in Dwayne Wade’s development as a star athlete, it also serves as a call-to-action to all parents to step up and be a part of their children’s lives.

Unbelieveable!!! I know some brothers who could use this book.
