“Afrika Owes Spends Easter @ Church That Bailed Her Out”

This heifer knew she had to be front and center Sunday morning at Abyssinian Baptist Church after the church fought for weeks before it was allowed to post her $25,000 bail on Tuesday.

Owes, 17, was wearing an all-white suit with her long hair pulled up, and was acknowledged by the Rev. Calvin Butts as she sat front and center during both of the famed church’s Easter Sunday services.

Owes was locked up on Riker’s Island and being charged with running guns for a street gang, she was also facing charges that included felony, gun charges and conspiracy. But luckily Afrika Owes was able to stand up on Sunday in the Harlem church that bailed her out – she received welcome home cheers from the congregation for her presence.

The church and her home are just a block from where alleged members of the 137th Street Crew peddled crack and terrorized the neighborhood. Owes was among 14 suspects picked up in a Feb. 16 sweep and spent two months in a Rikers Island jail.

I’m sure Africa Owes and her family will forever be indebted to the Rev. Calvin O. Butts and his Abyssinian Baptist Church, for the huge bailout.

“Archaeologist Claims To Find Nails From Jesus’ Cross”

In 1990, Israeli archeologists excavating a 2,000-year-old burial cave, discovered two nails crafted by the Romans, but kept the discovery quiet. The two nails found are now prominently displayed in an Israel Museum in Jerusalem.

A canadian jouralist believes they may have tracked down two of the iron nails used to crucify Jesus to the cross.

In the segment “Nails of the Cross,” which will air on April 20 on the History Channel, host and producer Simcha Jacobovici attempts to discover why the researchers felt the nails were unimportant.

According to the Gospels, Caiaphas was the Jewish high priest who handed Jesus over to the Romans for crucifixion.

There’s a general scholarly consensus that the tomb where the nails were found likely belonged to Caiaphas. Nails at that time were a dime a dozen, but finding one in a tomb is exceedingly rare.

“Caiaphas is known for one thing only: the trial and Crucifixion of Jesus,” Jacobovici said. “He may have felt compelled to take these nails with him to his grave.”

There was also the belief among some ancient Jews that nails had healing powers “and were a ticket to the afterlife.”

“Bronx Pastor Raped & Impregnated 12 Year Old Member”

Dr. Michael Clare, 38, refused an offer from prosecutors, which included 3 years in prison; for raping a 12-year-old member of his church.

Despite “irrefutable proof” that this pastor (pictured above), impregnated the child, Clare’s lawyer asked the judge to consider probation instead of prison. The judge flat-out refused, citing a DNA match between this pastor and the 12 year old’s aborted fetus is evidence.

Clare, the married pastor of Harvest Worship Center and principal of the associated Harvest Prep school, had sexually preyed on the victim; who is now 15, for three years.

Clare, who is free on $50,000 bond, faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted of first-degree rape at trial.

Although the judge has said, “Clare’s preaching days are probably over”, his lawyer remains optimistic that his client will be vindicated at trial.

Prosecutors believe Pastor Clare may have victimized other young churchgoers as well.

Nasty, disgusting, deceitful bastard!

Clare will join the ranks of other false pastors and prophets, who will be hosting churches in hell!

“Bishop E. Bernard Jordan Exchanges The Word For Cash”

This is something I knew already but recieved the following email from a loyal “Ceo blog” reader who decided to put the fake “money-hungry” prophet on blast.

Dearest Tracy,

Just when you think you have heard it all, here comes Bishop E. Bernard Jordan and his army of so-called prophets. The issues with the “Prophetic Ministry” are both alarming and deceptive as many desperate believers are taken advantage of by men and women like Bishop Jordan. With generic prophecies and new age rhetoric, Bishop Jordan has gotten filthy rich off the hopes of the poor and the sick.

The “prophetic word for cash scheme” has actually been around for a while, even dating back to the time of Paul’s ministry. It was so popular at the time that even when Paul publicly rebuked a psychic / mystic, who was then beaten and thrown in jail (Acts Chapter 16:16-24)…

Like many of you, I too have sat up late at night flipping through the channels only to discover Bishop Jordan on BET offering ridiculously vague prophecies in exchange for a donation of any size. How did we as the Body of Christ go from the Great Prophets of the Bible like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel to Bishop Jordan, Benny Hinn, and Bishop Clarence E. McClendon?

…Men like Bernard Jordan has succeeded in making a mockery of this most Holy appointment due in part to the fact that they have appointed themselves to the role of a Prophet. Common sense would tell us that God would not use a true prophet to issue a prophetic word that sounds something like this:

“I am feeling in my spirit the number 34 or 3 & 4 which means that you may want to sow a seed of $34 dollars because someone in your life who is 34 years old could be in danger.”

Really Bernard Jordan? Really!

We have reached the point in biblical history whereas the fear of the Lord has dissipated and we’re left with preachers who are for entertainment purposes only and E. Bernard Jordan is one of them..

Referring to a chapter from my book, “Conversations Of A Sistah”, the reader concluded: “If you wanna “hustle” then sell drugs, go be a male prostitute, do a check scam, but don’t take advantage of people’s spirituality by trying to make a dollar off of their beliefs.”

Wow and…Amen!

“Married Minister Stabs His Girlfriend In Rage”

A Paterson, New Jersey minister known for his angelic voice and charitable contributions, stormed into an Eastside home and without a word, stabbed his girlfriend; the Rev. Simone Shields several times in the face and torso, leaving her to lie in a pool of blood.

Rev. Fairley was arrested after he was spotted on the street soaked in blood and with the knife/weapon still in hand, authorities said. Fairley, 59, is charged with attempted murder for the stabbing of Rev. Simone Shields, 52 and is currently being held without bail in the Passaic County jail.

Both ministers (pictured above), worked at the same church and were in a relationship, according to police.

Fairley had previously served, six years in a state prison after being convicted of committing a violent attack on a previous wife.

The gifted pastor and musician leads a sizable congregation at his church on East 36th Street in Paterson, NJ, that often runs food pantries and other charities to aid the community.

My sources told me, that Shields revealed the nature of “she and Fairley’s” relationship to his wife and Fairley apparently flipped out.

So shortly after 10 a.m., Shields was at the 26th Street home of a friend, who is a beautician, getting her hair done when Fairley arrived. Fairley had called the friend earlier saying he was coming over to return some personal papers, said the woman, who asked not to be identified.

When Fairley showed up, he said little before attacking Shields in the kitchen with a knife he pulled from his pocket, the witness said. As the hairstylist called the police, the blood-soaked minister quietly left, walked out calm as ever and starting walking up the street,” she said.

This story is crazy as hell and these people call themselves ministers? You can put a label on anything and call it a church but that doesn’t mean God is in it.

Thanks to my sister Theresa (loyal CEO blog reader) for the story tip. 🙂
