Bishop Eddie Long Is Taking Some Time Off

Because his foundation is slowly crumbling right before his eyes and his family structure will no longer be his front. Below is the statement as reported on CNN:

Bishop Eddie Long, head of one of the nation’s largest mega-churches, announced Sunday he is “taking time off” to work on his family.

The announcement came three days after his wife Vanessa filed for divorce.

Although her husband’s church issued a statement later that same day saying she was withdrawing the divorce petition, Vanessa Long’s attorney said she was proceeding with the divorce.

Last spring, Long, head of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, settled a lawsuit filed by four young men who accused him of pressuring them into sexual relationships while they were teenagers and members of the congregation.

I don’t think Bishop Long’s family need to be worked on, I think it’s Bishop Long who has the problem. He’s determined to live in the closet and not fess up to his secret lifestyle of homosexuality and hypocrisy. Pride always comes before the fall!!!

Vanessa Long Changed Her Mind… No Divorce

24 hours after filing for divorce from embattled Atlanta preacher Bishop Eddie Long, his long-suffering wife, Vanessa Long, has asked her attorneys to withdraw her divorce petition.

Mrs. Long blames “years of attacks in the media” for her abrupt decision to file for divorce yesterday (Dec. 1).

But in a new statement released this afternoon, Mrs. Long said:

“Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long,” she said in an emailed statement bearing the New Birth logo. “I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength and courage.”

Yesterday, Mrs. Long appeared to give up on her marriage to the troubled leader of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church:

“After a great deal of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to terminate my marriage to Bishop Eddie L. Long. Accordingly, I authorized my attorneys to file for divorce on December 1, 2011.”

Vanessa sound like she’s confused!!! Either that or money truly talks. Confusion does not follow prayer, God speaks and one listens then decides with a clear and made up mind. Her actions don’t look credible now.

Bishop Eddie Long’s Wife Files For Divorce

According to CBS Atlanta 46, the long-suffering wife of embattled Atlanta prosperity preacher, Bishop Eddie Long, has filed for divorce.

Vanessa G. Long released a statement early Friday morning announcing her decision to terminate her marriage to Bishop Long, who is the leader of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, GA.

The statement reads as follows:

“After a great deal of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to terminate my marriage to Bishop Eddie L. Long. Accordingly, I authorized my attorneys to file for divorce on December 1, 2011.

It is my sincere hope that this matter can be resolved expeditiously, harmoniously, and fairly. I ask that you respect my privacy and that of my family, as my attorneys and I have agreed that we will not try this case in the media, and I do not intend to make any further statements concerning this matter.

I also ask that the public pray for my entire family during this difficult period of transition.

Thank you, and may God continue to bless and keep each of you.”

The divorce proceeding follows a tumultuous year for the Bishop, who, earlier this year, settled sexual misconduct lawsuits brought on by 4 former Longfellow Youth Academy students, and a fifth man who was not included in the suit.

Age Difference Is Not An Excuse To Cheat!

In the highly publicized split and pending divorce between Demi Moore, 49, and her 33-year-old husband Ashton Kutcher, media reports are suggesting their 16 year age differences led to the couple’s demise.

Of course that’s a bunch of bullshit in my opinion, especially since Kutcher was well aware of he and Demi’s age difference when he took his vows and said “I Do” to her six years ago… Yes he’s young and Demi should’ve known he was bound to change.

The rumors began with reports that Ashton had gone astray while on a night out partying in San Diego the night before his sixth wedding anniversary, while his wife Demi was working in New York. Rumor also had it that Sara Leal, 22, a local administrative assistant, was the other woman. When Ashton denied rumors that he had cheated and started to appear in public with Demi as if nothing ever happened, Leal came out and revealed details of her and Ashton’s affair.

Leal revealed to US Weekly, that she met Ashton at San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel, that he claimed he was separated, and that she had sex with him. Twice. “He was like, ‘I enjoy things like this because I’m an actor 90 percent of the time and it’s fake. It’s nice to have moments that are real”.

Demi apparently found out the truth and has filed for divorce.

So to my loyal little CEO reader Nicole, infidelity ended Ashton and Demi’s marriage not their age differences sweetie.

Tiki Barber Can’t Marry Mistress, He’s Not Divorced From His Wife!

Tiki Barber got engaged to his mistress (pictured left), former NBC intern Traci Lynn Johnson in August, with plans to marry that heifer in the Hampton’s in May of 2012., but there’s one problem with their plans; Tiki’s divorce is far from complete with his estranged wife Ginny, because (the two sides can’t seem to reach a settlement).

The settlement disagreement is due to the fact that, Tiki is trying to rob Ginny (his wife of 11 years) of the money she is lawfully due in child and spousal support.

Tisk, tisk….This seems to be just another set back for Tiki, since he can’t seem to gain an NFL Comeback.

Tiki had planned to come back to football after four years away from the game. He filed papers with the NFL to come out of retirement in March after his unsuccessful television career. After working out hard for several months, not a single NFL team was interested enough in Barber to offer him a contract.

Ah ha Tiki, take note: men who cheat on their wives will never live happily ever after with their mistress!! Nor will they have complete success.
