“GA Mayor: Showing Your Drawers Is A Crime”

Pants on the ground! Pants on the ground! Lookin’ like a fool with your pants on the ground!

A Mayor in Dublin, GA has officially made saggin’ pants a crime and all offenders will be fined $200.00 per offense.

The law would prohibit the wearing of pants or skirts more than three inches below the top of the hips, exposing the skin or undergarments.

Police will be left to enforce the law, but skeptics wonder if they are supposed to run around high school parking lots with tape measures in hand looking for violators of the three-inch rule.

City officials hope that a simple warning for kids to pull up their pants will be sufficient, but we all know that there will be at least one kid (and likely more) who will push the law to its constitutional breaking point by getting arrested and fighting the ticket in court.

Some people are already complaining that the law will be used to target young black males. Well, a quick visit to just about any mall will tell you that young white males model just about everything they see from their black counterparts, including saggin’. So it’s up to the community to make sure that young black boys aren’t the only ones getting pinched for this infraction.

Do you think the mayor is doing the right thing? Because I’m hoping this law will spread, especially since I’m offended when I’m forced to look at someone’s ass from sagging pants.

What is your thoughts on this matter?

“The Enemies Goal Is To”

Divide and conquer!

Glen Beck aka “The Tea Party” held a rally on Saturday at the National Mall on Washington, DC to restore honor in America. Beck, Palin and the tea party crowd drew an estimate of 87,000 to half a million people to their divide and conquer bullshit rally.

Beck told the crowded audience who descended on the mall “for far too long, this country has wandered in darkness.”

And although Saturday marked the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.‘s “I Have a Dream” speech, Beck was no more sincere about racial equality than Sarah Palin’s daughter is about remaining celibate until married.

We all remember how Mr. Beck said that “President Barack Obama is a racist and a hater of white people” but Beck is now recalling those words as a race baiter and is now saying; President Obama isn’t a racist, just a “libertarian theologists.”

Yeah okay.

Sarah Palin was the cheerleader at Saturday’s “Tea Party” rally of course, yet her daughter [Bristol Palin] is on her way to appearing on “Dancing With The Stars” this fall.

As my readers would say: GTFOH!!!!

I really hope the american people are not taking these two seriously?

In the meantime the Rev. Al Sharpton held his own little rally on Saturday over at Washington high school. The participants at the Sharpton rally gathered at Dunbar High School first and marched to the National Mall area.

Sharpton said, “Beck is trying to hijack King’s message” and declared “They have the platform but we have the dream”.

Sharpton’s crowd wasn’t as big as the “Tea Party’s” but bless his little heart for the effort.

“Lawsuit Against Gabrielle Union Tossed”

Siohvaughn Wade, Dwayne Wade’s ex-wife and mother of his two children, filed a lawsuit against actress Gabrielle Union.

Union has been dating the pro NBA player for some time now.

Siohvaughn Wade (right) filed the lawsuit a few months ago — claiming her and Dwayne’s kids were left scarred when Gabrielle and the Miami Heat guard engaged in “sexual foreplay” in front of them.

Last week, an Illinois judge officially dismissed Siohvaughn’s lawsuit, citing improper jurisdiction.

Dwayne and Gabrielle both, have since denied such allegations by calling them, “erroneous and untrue”.

“Who Would Want To Kill Wyclef Jean?”

A supporter holds a portrait of Wyclef Jean as Wyclef (right) leaves the electoral office after submitting the paperwork to run for president of Haiti earlier this month.

I wasn’t even going to write about this fiasco but when the election council in Haiti rejected Wyclef’s bid for presidency, on the grounds that he has not lived in Haiti for over 5 years; I couldn’t resist.

You would think this reason would be common sense to the U. S. rapper but apparently not.

In a flurry of emails sent out by Wyclef he said:

“We await the CEP decision but the laws of the Haitian Constitution must be respected,” “We can only Hope!”

In the meantime Jean, who was one of dozens of candidates vying for the office of President in the earthquake stricken region said., “He was in hiding out Tuesday after receiving death threats”.

Jean said he received a phone call telling him to get out of Haiti and that he was in hiding in a secret location in the Caribbean country.

It never ceases to amaze me, how some people will always make a situation all about them. IMO, he’s power hungry.

“Homeless Man Served “13 Of 25″ Years For Stealing Food”

Gregory Taylor (Pictured here wiping his tears), served 13 years behind bars for breaking into a church kitchen trying to find something to eat. This man became an example of California’s harsh three-strikes law but has been ordered released from prison.

A Superior Court judge amended Gregory Taylor’s sentence to eight years already served and the 47-year-old, who was sentenced in 1997 to 25 years to life, will be a free man in a few days.

Taylor was arrested in July 1997 while trying to get into the kitchen of St. Joseph’s Church in downtown Los Angeles. He told officers that he was hungry.

The church’s pastor, the Rev. Alan McCoy, testified at the original sentencing that Taylor was often given food and allowed to sleep at the church. The priest described him as a peaceful man struggling with homelessness and crack addiction.

Taylor was convicted of third-strike burglary due to two robbery convictions in the 1980s, once for stealing a purse containing $10 and another time for trying to rob a man on the street. He didn’t use a weapon in either case, and no one was injured.

The three-strikes sentencing policies of the 1990s “produced inconsistent and disproportionate results,” the Judge said.

Taylor was taken back into custody and will be released when his paperwork is completed in the next two days.

I hope Gregory will get himself together and launch a lawsuit against the State of California, for their misappropriated actions of the law!
