Tyler Perry continues to promote his upcoming play-turned-movie Madea’s Big Happy Family, by using blockbuster movies and popular culture icons as references for his posters. In his most recent promo poster, he’s dressed as Snooki in a hilarious spoof of the hit MTV Reality Show “Jersey Shore”.

“New York Premiere Of “For Colored Girls”
Janet Jackson attended the “For Colored Girls” special screening, held at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City last night.
Here, Janet poses with her nephew Austin, who is the only son of Janet’s oldest sister Rebe Jackson. Austin will be releasing a new album soon and rumor has it that, he’s picked up certain qualities from his late uncle Michael Jackson.
R&B singer Ciara, also attended the NY screening. What does this child do again?
The lovely Kerry Washington was in attendance, as she also has a role in the movie.
And singer Macy Grey was in attendance! And she does not look feminine wearing this gown!
Tyler Perry looks like he’s wearing lipstick here. He must have forgotten to take it off as he switched from his role as Madea.
“For Colored Girls” opens in theatres on November 5.
“Tyler Perry’s Movie Murdered By Critics”
The multi-tasking movie maker has done it again, Tyler Perry’s new movie “For Colored Girls” hits theatres on November 5 with an all-star cast featuring Janet Jackson, Phylicia Rashad, Whoopi Goldberg and Thandie Newton just to name a few.
However my good friend “CB” who is an editor to movie critics said, “the reviews were written and they are not good.” “They killed it and called “For Colored Girls” — “a train wreck.” “They didn’t like it and said it was a step back for Tyler Perry”.
Why kill the film two weeks early? He said, “The studio wanted early publicity”
Last week, Perry appeared on “Oprah” in a show that appeared to be more like a psychiatric session; the over-sharing of Perry’s sexual abuse as a child, didn’t do much to promote the movie
Perry adapted the original play by Ntozake Shange‘s “For Colored Girls,” a string of poems that depicted the lives of black women in the 1970s. Of course Perry changed the script and added his own spin to this new version.
Will you see “For Colored Girls” when it opens nationwide on November 5?
“If You Like Drama – You’ll Love N-Secure”
This movie is mixed with murder, mayhem and manipulation among affluent professionals.
This film sheds light on a man’s downfall from the pinnacles of success into the depths of his damaged character. His insecurities lead him into a series of troubled romantic relationships and eventually a web of events that include betrayal and murder.
N-Secure opens in theatres today.
Come back and share your thoughts with “The Fam” here at The CEO’S-Blog after you’ve seen this film.
“TAKERS”
I know I haven’t blogged about the latest movie flicks lately and that’s because I haven’t had the time to see any; but that will all change when the movie “Takers” hit the Editor’s guild in a couple of weeks.
The movie which stars, Chris Brown, T.I. Harris, fine ass Idris Elba, Michael Ealy and Hayden Christensen.
The plot is, a group of professional bank robbers (Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, Paul Walker, Idris Elba and Hayden Christensen), who specialize in spectacular robberies, are pulled into one last job by a recently paroled cohort (T.I) who will get pitted against a hard-boiled detective (Matt Dillon) who interrupts their heist.
I’m told this movie is filled with action, drama and crime.
“TAKERS” will open in theatres on August 27, 2010.
