All hope were lost and all fears realized when the NY Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the found body parts on the beach in College Point — including arms, legs and a lower torso — are that of the autistic 14-year-old.

After months of searching and full media coverage, DNA testing has confirmed the remains belong to the autistic boy, who was last seen on Oct. 4 leaving the Riverview School in Long Island City along the East River waterfront.

The family will be filing a wrongful death suit and rightfully so since no one can understand that out of 13 students with three teachers, how one could get away. A school is the last place a parent would expect to lose a child.

“Man Detained As 2nd American Female Missing In Aruba”

Six years after American teenager Natalie Holloway went missing in Aruba, a second American female has turned up missing under mysterious circumstances.

According to published reports, a 50-year-old man with a history of domestic violence against women is being held in the disappearance of Robyn Gardner.

Gardner, 35, of Frederick, Maryland, went missing on August 2 from the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino in Oranjestad, Aruba. Gary Giordano was detained on Friday, August 5, by Aruban police as he attempted to board a plane and leave the island.

Giordano has a history of domestic violence against his ex-wife and an ex-girlfriend. His ex-wife, and at least one other woman, obtained restraining orders against Giordano in the past, according to Gawker.com.

Reportedly, Gardner hooked up with Giordano after meeting him online last month. The pair traveled to Aruba on vacation and Giordano told authorities that Gardner disappeared while snorkeling.

18-year-old high school student Natalee Holloway went missing on the Aruban island during a class trip in 2005. Aruban native Joran van der Sloot is suspected in her death. He is currently in a Peruvian prison on charges of murdering another woman. Holloway’s body has never been found.

“Bodies Found Believed To Be Plainfield, NJ Couple”

Evande Orna, 39 and Troy Edwards, 40, (pictured above), vanished more than two weeks ago. The couple was said to be headed to Richmond, VA., to pick up a relative but were never heard from again.

Investigators now suspect that the two bodies found on 52nd St. in East Flatbush at about 7:30 p.m. yesterday are those of Evande Orna and Troy Edwards.

The NYPD received a call Wednesday evening from the Richmond Police, saying where the couple’s car could be found. It’s not clear how Richmond Police got that information.

A law enforcement source also told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that police believe the pair made it to an apartment in Richmond, where “duct-tape and red stains on the sheets and in several locations” were found.

The identities of the bodies have not yet been confirmed, but police believe they are the missing couple.

“16 Year Old North Carolina Girl Missing”

This is Phylicia Barnes, a 16-year-old North Carolina girl who disappeared while visiting her 27-year old step-sister in Baltimore, MD. According to Phylicia’s half-sister Deena Barnes, Phylicia was last seen on December 28 at 2:30 pm when she told her sister she was going shopping.

Anyone who had contact with Phylicia in the hours leading up to her disappearance is considered a person of interest, police said. Phylicia’s sister is of college-age and “she had a lot of friends coming in and out,” police say; which makes the potential suspect pool large and difficult to narrow down.

In the past week, authorities have conducted multiple searches for Phylicia in and around the area of the apartment complex where she was last seen, but so far nothing of interest has been found.

Authorities are now hoping that billboards donated by Clear Channel Communications might help bring some new leads in the case. Billboards, which display Phylicia’s photo and vital information, were put up along Interstate 95 from Baltimore to New York City, police said.

Phylicia is a straight “A” student and is due to graduate early from Union Academy in Monroe, North Carolina.
