“Montel Williams Busted With A Marijuana Pipe”

The talk show host was detained at a Milwaukee airport for having a marijuana pipe in his possession.

Wisconsin authorities say former talk show host and medical marijuana activist Montel Williams has been cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

Montel Williams paid the $484 citation and was released to continue his travel.

The Milwaukee County sheriff’s office says the Transportation Security Administration found Williams had a pipe commonly used for marijuana as he passed through a security checkpoint Tuesday.

Williams said he uses marijuana to relieve chronic pain caused by multiple sclerosis that he was diagnosed with in 1999. The 54-year-old has since became an activist pushing for medical marijuana laws after being stopped at a Detroit airport years ago for carrying drug paraphernalia.

Thanks to my mom for the story tip. 🙂

“No Homosexual Couples Allowed!”

A Christian hotel denied a gay couple reservations in their hotel and now the hotel is being sued.

The Chymorva Private Hotel in Cornwall, U.K., have a deep christian policy with regard to marriage (being the union of one man to one woman for life to the exclusion of all others). Therefore their accommodations are not available to unmarried couples.

In September 2008, civil partners Steven Preddy and Martyn Hall reserved a double room at the hotel, when the hotel’s manager “realized that the booking had not been made for a heterosexual couple,” their hotel reservation was cancelled, according to a Christian Post article. This policy of their’s have been in effect since the hotel was established in 1986.

The hotel owner’s business, doubles as their home as well as a hotel.

What’s your opinion Ceo readers, does the hotel have a right to decide who stays in their rooms??

“Wesley Snipes Will Surrender To Authorities”

But before he does, he will appear on CNN’s “Larry King Live” tonight.

Snipes was convicted of three misdemeanor counts of failure to file tax returns and was sentenced to 3 years in prison.

Earlier in the week, Wesley requested a delay to start his prison sentence until after the holidays but a judge denied his request; as he has also lost a series of appeals and requests for new trials.

Prior to his conviction, Snipes had been a member of an obscure cult whose leader didn’t believe in paying taxes.

Snipes also claimed that as a “fiduciary of God, who is a ‘nontaxpayer,’” he was a “‘foreign diplomat’” who was not obliged to pay taxes.

Snipes failed to file tax returns for the years 1999 to 2004 on earnings of $37 million.

According to CNN’s Marquee blog, the actor will sit down for his only interview (tonight) on CNN’s “Larry King Live.”

Snipes is scheduled to report to the Federal Correctional Institution McKean at Lewis Run, in Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 9.
