“Chickens Come Home To Roost, For The Cops Who Shot Sean Bell”

The cops who opened fire on Sean Bell are facing a disciplinary hearing that could result in their dismissal. For years, theses cops have hidden behind their lawyers, who said the officers opened fire on the car with a hail of bullets because they thought one of the passengers had a gun.

Detectives Gescard Isnora and Michael Carey were among five officers who fired  50 shots at a car carrying Bell and two friends the night of Bell’s bachelor party at a Queens strip club. November will mark 5 years since this terrible tragedy.

The officers have already been acquitted of manslaughter charges in a criminal court but at Police department hearings a department judge must now determine whether the pair violated any NYPD regulations and if so, should be punished for it.

Isnora fired the first shot at the car Sean Bell was driving outside Club Kalua in Queens, sparking a barrage of gunfire that killed Bell and wounded his two  passengers. The detectives fired a total of 11 bullets at the time.

“His error in judgment facilitated everything that happened after that,” said  NYPD lawyer Adam Shelton, who called Isnora’s conduct “outrageous, unimaginable  and unjustified.”

The NYPD said Isnora and Carey face internal charges involving firing their weapons outside of department guidelines. Isnora, who was working undercover, was also charged with a violation related to blowing his cover. The officers involved have been working on modified duty, officials said. The 2 other cops, Oliver and Cooper also still face departmental charges but are said to  be trying to work out deals to retire.

The cops who opened fire on Bell said they believed someone in the car had a gun  and that Bell was trying to run them over. But this still doesn’t justify opening a hail of bullets on a vehicle when bullets are not firing back.

Nicole Paultre (pictured above) who was supposed to marry Sean Bell that dreadful day said “My daughters are now 8 and 5, and they miss their dad, and someone needs to be  held responsible for that.”

“Autopsy Reveals, Amy Winehouse Drank Herself To Death”

A coroner’s inquest into the death of British pop-singer Amy Winehouse has determined that the troubled singer died of alcohol poisoning.

A coroner ruled that Winehouse died from “Death by Misadventure,” saying Winehouse “had consumed sufficient alcohol … and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death.”

Winehouse had five times the legal limit of alcohol in her system at the time of her death. Additionally, numerous bottles of vodka were found strewn about her bedroom.

It was confirmed that Amy had been off drugs for three years (as evidenced by drug testing), and she had been sober for two weeks.

Her doctor, who testified at the inquest and saw her the night before she died, said she was “very determined but said she wanted to quit her own way and had objected to psychological therapy.”

Nurse testifies: “MJ begged for sleep aid, then fired her after refusal”

I bet you Cherilyn Lee (pictured above), is glad she refused to give Michael Jackson propofol, if she hadn’t; she might be sitting where Conrad Murray is today; on trial for the pop star’s death.

Lee testified in the Conrad Murray trial today, how the sleep-hungry singer begged her to give him the powerful anesthetic two months prior to his death, then fired her when she refused.

The nurse who stood by her professional ethics, was called to the witness stand today by defense lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray, but her testimony often worked against the physician, whose now on trial for involuntary manslaughter going on week five.

Lee, a nurse practitioner in holistic medicine, recounted to jurors how Jackson, 50, asked for the anesthetic propofol by its brand name, Diprivan, during a meeting at his house in April 2009.

“He looked at me and said: ‘What I need is something that’s going to help me fall asleep right away, (and) the only thing that will help me do that is Diprivan,” Lee recalled of the house call. It was her last trip to Jackson’s home and the last time she saw him alive.

She said that after learning about the surgery-strength drug she was surprised he requested it. She said she quickly expressed to him her concerns. “He said: ‘No, I just need somebody to come here, and I will be safe. If it was monitored. As long as I’m being monitored,” she recalled.

She described the singer as “upset” over his insomnia and convinced that propofol – which he said he had received during a prior surgery, was the answer to his woes.

Lee said she ultimately refused to give him the medication, and that was the last time she ever saw Jackson in person, despite a history of giving him intravenous nutritional supplements. Defense lawyers hope her testimony will cast Jackson as a challenging patient who was blind to the dangers of the strong anesthetic.

In the meantime, Murray, 58, has pleaded not guilty and faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license if convicted. He contends Jackson gave himself extra drugs without his knowledge, causing a perfect storm that fueled the “Thriller” singer’s overdose and death.

The media is contending that the jury may have this case and ready to deliberate by the end of next week.

So stay tuned.

“Troubled Teen Get “15 Years to Life” For Killing Her Cousin”

Troubled teen Tiana Brown (pictured to the right), was convicted of killing her cousin (Shannon Braithwaite pictured inset above), in a jealous rage over the girl’s sneakers. Browne, now 18, was three years younger when she plunged a kitchen knife into Shannon Braithwaite 49 times and was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.

Browne had issues, she was a runaway, a rape victim and the prodigal child of the family, when Shannon’s religious mother felt the Christian thing to do was to invite this troubled, pimpled face teen to stay with them at their Crown Heights home. And just two days later, Browne killed her 16-year-old cousin Shannon in a crime relatives say and believe was motivated by her intense jealousy over her cousin’s sneakers, electronic gadgets and success in school.

Brown was emotionally damaged and mentally scared, when she discovered that her mother was raped by her grandmother’s boyfreind, who was initially her father. Browne’s excuse for killing her cousin, was that; she was suffering “post-traumatic-stress disorder” after being repeatedly raped by a classmate a few years before the slaying.

Marva Braithwaite (Shannon’s mother), delivered a passionate message directly to Browne in a Brooklyn Supreme Court on Friday. “You rewarded me by leaving me childless, ripping out my very being,” “When you sit behind bars, you can never say you weren’t loved,” “Shannon loved you. I loved you.”

Although Tiana Brown apologized and said “she was sorry for everything” Judge Wayne Ozzi had no mercy as he opposed Brown’s sentencing “I know you said you’re sorry”, The judge said “but your actions speak louder than words.”
