“No Settlement Reached Between The Two”

American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino, met with her boyfriend’s wife, Paula Cook, earlier this month; in an attempt to settle their private dispute.

Fantasia and Paula were in mediation for nearly 12 hours on November 1 and the two didn’t settle because Fantasia refuses to acknowledge that she was aware of Paula’s marriage to Antwaun when she started dating him, and Paula is adamant that Fantasia did know.

Fantasia was prepared to pay Paula as much as $100,000 to settle during their mediation, Paula flat-out refused and instead, will see Fantasia in court on November 22; where she will proceed with her “Alienation of Affection” lawsuit against the Idol winner and reality show singer.

Alienation of Affection is a law still recognized by only seven states, one of which is North Carolina – where an abandoned spouse can file a lawsuit against the party responsible for the failure of their marriage. Typically the adulterous spouse’s lover, in this case, that’s Fantasia.

I think Mrs. Cook wants to prove a point for the benefit of more money, and at the same time embarrass Fantasia in the process.

“So Justice Clarence Thomas Is A Little Freak??”

His dumb wife Virginia might of opened up an old can of worms this week, when she phoned Anita Hill demanding an apology, but that’s nothing in comparison to the stories a former colleague of Clarence want to share an a tell all memoir.

Lillian McEwen, a former assistant U.S. attorney and one-time girlfriend of Thomas’ told the Washington Post that the Supreme Court justice was “obsessed with porn” as well as the bodies of his female coworkers.

“He was always actively watching the women he worked with to see if they could be potential partners,” “It was a hobby of his.”

At one time, Lillian McEwen was on good terms with Thomas. The former assistant U.S. attorney and Senate Judiciary Committee counsel had dated him for years, even attending a March 1985 White House state dinner as his guest. She had worked on the Hill and was wary of entering the political cauldron of the hearings. She was never asked to testify, as then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.), who headed the committee, limited witnesses to women who had a “professional relationship” with Thomas.

McEwen who maintained her silence for 20 years has now decided to speak out since Virginia Thomas has opened up a 20-year-old wound and is shopping for a publisher to publish her memoir. Maybe this is what Virginia Thomas was looking for, her husband’s hidden mistress. Oh well Virginia, here she is.

McEwen said, she and Justice Thomas remained in a relationship for many years even after he became a Supreme Court Justice.

“Messy Jesse Jr. – Like Father, Like Son”

Jesse Jackson Jr. issued an apology today for getting caught flying his whore, I mean jump-off around the country using campaign funds.

Junior is knee-deep in a scandal right now, concerning whether or not he tried to buy a senate seat or if he was using campaign funds inappropriately. During this investigations one of Jesse’s jump-offs were exposed.

Here’s his apology and his hint about his mistress: “The allegations about fundraising and the Senate seat are not new. I’ve already talked with the authorities about these claims, told them they were false, and no charges have been brought against me. The very idea of raising millions of dollars for a campaign other than my own is preposterous. My interest in the Senate seat was based on years of public service, which I am proud of, not some improper scheme with anyone.

“The reference to a social acquaintance is a private and personal matter between me and my wife that was handled some time ago. I ask that you respect our privacy.

“I know I have disappointed some supporters and for that I am deeply sorry. But I remain committed to serving my constituents and fighting on their behalf.”

“Divorced – After 26 Years Of Marraige”

Actor Morgan Freeman and his wife Myrna, have finalized their divorce as of September 15, 2010.

The couple separated in 2008, after Freeman was involved in a car accident that revealed he was having an affair with his wife’s friend, Demaris Meyer.

Terms of the couples divorce are sealed, both Freeman and his now ex-wife live in Tallahatchie County in northern Mississippi.

Freeman, 73, won an Oscar for his performance in 2004’s “Million Dollar Baby.” His screen credits also include “The Dark Knight,” “Bruce Almighty,” “The Shawshank Redemption” and “Driving Miss Daisy.”

“Is It Ever OK To Call The Other Woman Mommy?”

Not according to Swizz Beatz ex-wife Mashonda.

In the October issue of Sister2Sister magazine, Mashonda is still making it very clear that, Alicia Keys was her husband’s mistress.

“We were married. Sleeping in the same bed and having sex every night while he was seeing Alicia. Okay? It was an affair. 100 percent. I don’t know why people want to change that rule so much. We had just had a kid, for crying out loud. Our child was 8 months. I found out about Alicia two days before my son turned 1. They had been doing their thing for months before that.”

And although Swizz and Alicia have since moved on, are happily married and expecting their first child together, people continue to ask Mashonda; why is she still speaking out about them?

“My story is a universal thing. This is not just something that only happened to me: This happens to women every day. Mine was just ugly. If I can help the next woman get through and be positive, then I’m going to talk about it.”

Mashonda then added, how Alicia Keys wanted her son (Kasseem Jr.) to call her mommy and how she addressed her in an email.

“Yeah. I sent her an email and asked her to please respect what I am to him and it’s not right for her to think that is okay. She never replied. She doesn’t reply to me. She has never given me that respect.” 

“It is so unfair to the child. I have been in contact with the little girls mother (the woman in England who has Swizz’s baby). She’s a young girl. She’s a spiritual girl. She apologized to me… I don’t even judge her. I can’t. She’s totally different than the other one. This other one knew. Alicia knew about me 100 percent. Swizz introduced me at prior events. They were signed to the same record company. She knew. And I emailed her and asked her to stop doing what she was doing and she disregarded me. Just like she disregarded me when I asked her to not have my son thinking it was okay to call her “umi.” You’re not his umi. You just met my son.”

“Umi” means “mommy” in Arabic. I’m like no. And then after I spoke to the lady in London, she told me that she tried to get her daughter to call her “umi” as well.

Mashonda should have addressed her child’s father Swizz regarding this issue, not Alicia.
