Dwyane Wade Fathered a Boy While On Break from Gabrielle Union

NBA star Dwyane Wade fathered a baby boy with a groupie while he was on hiatus from actress Gabrielle Union.

Wade recently spent time with his new baby boy, a source close to the couple tells ET.

According to ET, Wade, 31, and Union, 41, “have worked through the issue privately as a couple, and the “Being Mary Jane” star was aware of the child before their engagement.” Wade, who proposed to Union 2 weeks ago, has known the mother of his youngest son “for many years.” Wade is now the father of 3 boys.

The basketball player has two sons, Zion and Zaire, with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches and he is also raising his nephew Dahveon Morris.

D. Wade and Gabrielle Union have been an item since 2009.

It is always best to remain humble and silent in any given high-profile relationship, especially when that relationship is very public and a tad-bit scandalous. For some reason Gabrielle Union hasn’t gotten that memo yet.

In the December issue of Essence magazine the Mary Jane actress states in a cryptic statement:

“There’s this intense desire for us all to be chosen by a man, or a job, or chosen for fame, whatever. But when you’re in the public eye and you’re not chosen, the rejection feels public. So to cover the wound, you attack the person who is chosen.” –

But what good is it to be chosen by a man who’s ultimately choosing other women behind your back? Is Gabrielle Union delusional or blindingly refusing to accept the truth for what it is? Either way, she’s sounding a bit cocky in her relationship with Miami Heat baller, Dwayne Wade, who recently gifted her with an NBA championship ring for her birthday.

As for her character Mary Jane, she states: “It would be easy to label Mary Jane a freak…but enjoying sex doesn’t make you a ho,” 

No …but having sex with a smorgasbord of multiple men does!

Being Mary Jane Starring Gabrielle Union…Let’s talk about it

The TV movie “Being Mary Jane,” starring Gabrielle Union and Omari Hardwick, aired the other night on BET. Union, 40, plays a successful TV news anchor who believes her job, her salary and her material possessions are her biggest achievements in life. But she fails at maintaining a stable relationship with a man. Mary Jane believes a man is the missing piece of her puzzle and that she just needs a man to make her life complete.

Union plays a strong black woman who supports her entire family, including her sick mother, her pregnant teenage niece, her unemployed brother and his Caucasian baby mama, who all live together in the same house. This show covered every African-American stereo type possible.

Overall, I loved the show and thought Gabrielle Union played her role in true to life form. I just thought stealing a man’s sperm was pretty desperate and a bit disgusting.

“Being Mary Jane” will air as a series on the BET Network in January 2014.
