“Bodies Found Believed To Be Plainfield, NJ Couple”

Evande Orna, 39 and Troy Edwards, 40, (pictured above), vanished more than two weeks ago. The couple was said to be headed to Richmond, VA., to pick up a relative but were never heard from again.

Investigators now suspect that the two bodies found on 52nd St. in East Flatbush at about 7:30 p.m. yesterday are those of Evande Orna and Troy Edwards.

The NYPD received a call Wednesday evening from the Richmond Police, saying where the couple’s car could be found. It’s not clear how Richmond Police got that information.

A law enforcement source also told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that police believe the pair made it to an apartment in Richmond, where “duct-tape and red stains on the sheets and in several locations” were found.

The identities of the bodies have not yet been confirmed, but police believe they are the missing couple.

Without knowing the full story it is not right to assume that this couple was involved in a crime. Let’s wait for the facts to come out and then make a judgement.

As much as I hate to say it but…I agree w/ANGELHAIR!
‘Going to pick up a relative’ – Yeah, right… just wait, we’ll learn it had nothing to do with anything so innocuous and innocent as that. More like ‘Going to pick up drugs.’ You don’t go to pick up relatives and just end up in a trunk dead. sorry ya’ll.

Of course they were involved in something. Tracy failed to include that, among the forensic evidence taken from the scene on March 1, the station reported, red-stained sheets, a stun gun, Duct tape packaging materials, scales, baggies, as well as fingerprints and carpet samples.

One word: Drugs. We may not have all the facts, but I guarantee ya’ll drugs are in the mix

      8. I feel that this had more to do with a love triangle or “a crime of passion”, than with drugs. Everytime there is a “baby momma” involved, there’s trouble

Orna’s mother, Veronica Ramessar, told the Star Ledger that she suspected foul play in the case.

She even gave a sample of her DNA to police in case a body was found. “I think my daughter’s dead, because my daughter calls me every day,” she said

Ramessar was reportedly suspicious of the man her daughter was dating, and when Orna told her she would give her life for the man, “I hit her in her face,” Ramessar told the Star-Ledger. “I don’t like Troy.”

“I think she died for him for real,” Ramessar said

Sounds like these were two criminals who were killed by other criminals. If this chick was dating him for decades she surely did (or should have) known what he did for a living.

And if she actually cared about anything else besides the “bling” she would have left the relationship years ago.

  6. Who would have jurisdiction? Not knowing where they were murdered, assuming they were, makes prosecuting the case impossible: They must first prove where they were murdered before they can claim jurisdiction.

Was it in VA, NJ, or NY? Interesting: Why murder them in VA and dump the bodies in NY? Of course, it would tend to leave the cops guessing…
