“3 Year Old Boy Found Dead In Oven, Mom Charged”

The “charred” body of a 3-year-old boy was found inside an oven in a Greenville, MS apartment and his mother Terrie Robinson, 24, has been charged with his murder.

According to Washington County Coroner Methel Johnson, Tristan Robinson sustained head injuries and other trauma that occurred sometime before he was placed inside the hot oven. Police say the body was “Still warm to the touch” when it was removed from the oven just after midnight.

The toddler may have been asleep when he was placed inside the oven. Johnson said an autopsy would be conducted Friday to determine the exact cause of death.

Terrie Robinson is being held on $5 million dollar bond.

    2. I guess you never read the news before in your life! As sad as it is, kids get killed by mothers, fathers, grandparents, boyfriends (most likely) black, white, hispanic, chinese, native american, it does NOT matter. You name me a race or even a country, and I will find you articles on mothers killing a baby (or several). I just read story where a (black) woman killed her 9 day old baby, she said because the father left and she was mad and frustrated. She strangled that baby and threw her in a bucket! I also just read a story where the parents were Eskimos, of all things. I’m just telling you, don’t act stupid.

      Now, with that being said, this is just about one of the saddest things I have read. I was going to say that I prayed he was already deceased when she placed him in the oven, but made the mistake of reading an article, and he was not. His cause of death is THERMAL injuries, in other words he burned to death.

      That poor poor baby.

    This story right here hurts me to my soul. And as a mother, I am sooooo angry! Being a parent isn’t an easy task at all. Kids will challenge boundaries and push you to your limits but good grief! What could the child possibly do to warrant being placed in the oven? And a mother who places her child in the oven and bakes him to death is not a “good mother”. I don’t need no damn facts either to state that.

    That mother needs to be slapped with the damn oven door. WTF!!!

        yep, and the home daycare provider in houston leaves a pot of grease on the stove and goes to target. 4 of the 7 toddlers in her care die and the other 3 get burned. it’s just crazy, man.

        And sorry, no I don’t use the term African American because I no longer live in the united states and it turns out the blacks in Europe get offended if you call them an American, since they are not & generally hate America; and if they were born here and you were to call them African, they hate that too.     2. Family members that are in denial about the facts of the story are typically the ones who would state what a “good mother” she was.

      Yeah she might of been a good mother to her son. But a even BETTER MOTHER would have known to give that child up to a close relative or seek help the minute she seriously harmed that child or even had evil thoughts about his well being…

  21. Sons are “Mamas boys” and daughters are Daddy’s girls”, why did she harm the boy and not the little girl? Was the little girl hers? Did she look at the boy and see his father in him? None of my questions warrant what she did, my mind is trying to grasp this. Why is she crying in the pic, because she got caught, because she misses her son???

    1. I believe that spirits can posses people and they will do things that they normaly wouldnt do. Maybe she is crying because she realizes what happened? I cant imagine what would have to be going through your mind to carry something like this out.

  27. My deepest sympathy to the family and all those who were connected to that innocent little boy who died a horrific death.

    With that said, I don’t think any particular race or ethnic group has a monopoly on crazy. For years we used to point out how white folks committed the most insane crimes like, molestation, killing their parents, mass murderer, serial killings, or murdering their own children. Now we sadly see that some black folks can be just as evil or pyschotic with their crimes too. Any man or woman on this earth is capable of anything.

  32. All of us grew up where spanking was the norm, but I feel there are so many other resources out there were spanking shouldn’t be the only form of punishment.

    If you notice marks on a child SAY SOMETHING! Don’t feel because you got it as a child, it is okay.

    Some parents have no control over themselves. I called DCF on a former friend, and while I miss the friendship, I don’t regret calling. I am a mandated reporter and I could not live with myself if something happened and I did not speak up. Some people take spankings TOO far.

  35. Either way you have to protect your children physically and spiritually. The world is wicked and children are easy prey. I can’t imagine my child doing anything that warrants me putting him in an oven. you have to be aware of your own limitation and issues and make sure you are healthy, especially when having children.

  39. I think about all the people who would give anything to have a child, and those who have them but use, abuse, and mistreat them. It makes my heart sick, and takes me to places I don’t want to go because our innocent babies are under the mercy of demons like her.
