“Prince William Gave Fiancee Diana’s Ring”

Today, Prince Williams and his fiancée Kate Middleton made their first official appearance together since announcing their engagement.

When he popped the question, Prince William gave Kate the same engagement ring that his father, Prince Charles, gave to his deceased mother, Princess Diana.

Prince Charles paid $65,000 for it when he married Princess Diana in 1981.

“It is very special to me,” William told the press at St. James’ Palace today. “It was my way to make sure my mother did not miss out on today and the excitement that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together.

‘The timing is right now, we are both very, very happy.”

This is not the same storybook romance that occurred between Princess Diana and Prince Charles. William and Kate’s 8-year relationship hasn’t exactly been Camelot. The couple split up at least half a dozen times over the last 8 years.

It seems like a foolish choice to give an unpredictable woman a precious piece of jewelry that holds such historic significance. Especially since it once belonged to his dearly departed mother.

What if Kate decides to break up with him again and refuses to give back the ring? Then what?

“Alicia Keys Partied It Up With Hubby”

Alicia Keys stepped out last night with hubby Swizz Beatz. The couple attended a party to celebrate Swizz coming out in the November Issue of GQ magazine.

As a couple, they look all aglow and happy in love.

But Swizz “sport-in” these loud ass blue ferressant socks with the rust shoes, is another issue altogether.

“Alicia Keys Is So Overjoyed With”

Motherhood!!

So much so that her words are even making me sick. Keys talk like she went into the “heavenly of heavens” and gave birth.

Check out what the newly R&B mother of “1” said on her blog yesterday:

Every moment is beautiful; delicious even! Every moment I’m learning and living in a way I never have before. Being present in a way I never have before. Existing in moments I never have before.

Never have I felt so calm, so purposeful in taking the time to truly observe the world around me, to live in it fully and watch it, discuss it, put time toward it. It feels really incredible – so peaceful, so complete and long overdue.

I’m grown, I’m confident, I’m secure, and so blessed to be these things.

I’m most enamored with anatomy at this point. The miracle of the human body. The ability to create all these small amazing machines of veins, capillaries, digestive systems, eyes, ears and noses. I can spend HOURS looking at one little EAR! Have u ever noticed how complex just an ear is? A tiny maze of art. It may sound silly but it’s so true. Or a heartbeat? Everyday we wake up and in some way, take for granted the fact that this beautiful pulsating organ in our body is the reason, and yet now that’s all I can think of…

And breath; invisible as it may be, how necessary!

Ain’t it true that things we really can’t see are of the greatest importance?

I’ve never seen a more beautiful face in my LIFE! The most perfect eyes and beautiful nose, the sweetest lips and skin so soft and kissable!

Never have I felt such disbelief, such awe, humility, godliness, such strength, power and possibility.

I’ve never believed in greatness and the never ending Higher Power more than now!

And I can’t believe he’s mine!

Oooh! I feel a song coming on…

“Yes…It’s A Very Slow News days For Me Today”

And on that note: Janet Jackson was on Good Morning America this morning promoting her new movie “For Colored Girls”, when she cleared up the rumor concerning she and her billionaire boyfriend (Wissam Al Mana) by stating the following:

“He’s a very, very private man so I don’t talk about our relationship but I really think it’s important that I just say this: they’ve (the press) been trying to marry me off for a very, very long time. But I’m not engaged so I will say that.”

His life is private, hers not so much, so she has to respect his; in order to keep the peace in their relationship I’m sure.

“Do You Believe In ——> Friends With Benefits?

I need my readers to tell me, is that a yes or a no?

In this modern-day and age of relationships, when it comes down to men and women being friends, a clear understanding of your boundary’s should be set.

Oftentimes, when a close friendship is established between a man and a woman signals can get crossed and feelings do ensue, especially as the friendship grows and you both reach a certain level of comfort.

At that point, what do you do? In rare cases, these situations turn into beautiful fulfilling relationships but is romance or sexual fulfillment worth the risk of losing a friend?

I need my CEO-Blog readers to weigh in on this subject…tell me your thoughts.
