A Vote For Romney is a Vote for Zomney!

I think the world wants President Barack Obama to win re-election bid for a second term in the White House.

Just ask filmmaker Joss Whedon who believes Mitt Romney is the right man to lead America – into a “zombie apocalypse.”

With Election Day looming, the staunch President Obama supporter and “Avengers” director makes fun of Romney’s policies in a YouTube video posted online on Sunday. In the YouTube video, Whedon pounds Romney for his stance on just about every domestic issue while working in what appears to be his kitchen.

“Romney is ready to make the deep rollbacks in health care, education, social services, reproductive rights, that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting, all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland,” Whedon said.

The parody, just in time for Halloween includes a doctored photo of Romney looking like a zombie (pictured up top) Or “ZOMNEY,” as the video notes in big letters.

“Lets all embrace the future,” the 48-year-old Whedon quips. “Stop pretending we care about each other, and start hoarding canned goods. Because if Mitt takes office, sooner or later the zombies will come for all of us.”

Romney – Obama Debate Gets Testy

There were some tense moments between the presidential debate rematch between President Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney at Hofstra University Tuesday. Governor Romney was concise and confident at the start of the debate, while Obama seemed anxious and fired up. The pressure was on and Obama appeared to rise to the occasion.

Romney was petty taking the president toe to toe but President Obama definitely “Chin-checked” the governor however, I do respect Romney’s religious standards.

Terry McMillan: May Do “Waiting to Exhale” Sequel and replace Whitney’s Character

Author Terry McMillan, in a recent interview with The Huffington Post, gave her thoughts on the “Waiting To Exhale” sequel and whether Oprah Winfrey would be playing Whitney Houston’s role (as rumored), when and if the story hits the big screen.

McMillan said “she’s thinking about the best way to proceed”.

Myself and [screenwriter] Lori Lakin Hutcherson wrote drafts for the film and then Whitney passed away. And so now the studio is trying to take a moment to think about how best to proceed. They’ve made it crystal clear that they want to proceed, but it’s just a matter of how.

I have mixed feelings about which way might be best to tell the story. I have critics who feel like they are casting directors, and they know more about what should happen. You have no idea. People have said that we should just kill off the Savannah character, or have her go get a job somewhere and move out of the state. I mean, all kinds of things. And then I have people who think they have in mind who should play Savannah. And right now I’m not in a position to be an advocate one way or the other, with the exception of the fact that it’s hard to imagine the story without the Savannah character in it.

Even though I know how other people may feel the opposite. I feel terrible about Whitney, just like everybody else, but there’s a part of me that also feels that she would want the film to go on. That’s just my gut feeling. And it has nothing to do with me not having an allegiance to her or respect for her. I just have a feeling that Whitney would love from heaven, to sit up there and watch who else can do the character.

What do you all think should happen to Whitney’s character Savannah? Sound off with your opinion, I’d like to know.

What Did You Think About Oprah’s Interview With Whitney Houston’s Family?

The NY Daily News reports that the former Queen of talk, Oprah Winfrey has landed the first interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

According to the NY Daily News, the 18-year-old will share her “personal memories” of her mother and how she’d like her to be remembered. Oprah also sat down with Whitney’s most trusted confidants, her brother Gary Houston and sister-in-law, Pat. The interviews took place in Atlanta, where Bobbi Kristina once shared a townhouse with her mother.

Winfrey’s team also said the family addressed the “rumors and speculation” that have surfaced in the wake of Houston’s death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.

Houston was found unresponsive in the bathroom of her suite at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammys.

The special will air on Oprah’s OWN cable network on March 11.
