Dressed in white, hundreds of close friends and family gathered at Forest Lawn cemetery on yesterday to remember R&B superstar, Teena Marie.
The 54 year-old singer and producer, died December 26, in her Pasadena home, but no signs of trauma were found according to investigators.
Stars in attendance were:
Queen Latifah (who looks very sloppy in this picture)
Flex Alexander (One on One) and his wife Shaneice.
Smokey Robinson and his wife.
Stevie Wonder…
And Motown Founder, Berry Gordy (seen here hugging Teena Marie’s publicist Lyn Jeter).
Marie is survived by her 19-year-old daughter Alia Rose, also a singer who performs under the name, Rose Le Beau. Rose recently tweeted these heartfelt words to her mother: “I will make you proud until we meet again, I love you @MsTeenaMarie.”
