In an interview on ESPN radio today., Tiger Woods discussed how his life has changed since the car accident and the unraveling of the huge sex scandal which took place almost one year ago as of Thanksgiving or should we say; the day after.
Woods said “he is “infinitely” happier than he was a year ago before the accident on Thanksgiving” “[I’m] just more clear, more clear about my perspective, who I am, where I want to go,” “and it’s amazing how much better I feel internally each and every day.”
Woods went on to say that he wasn’t happy with who he was over the last two years.
In an article (“How I’ve Redefined Victory”) Woods wrote in Newsweek, how “he enjoys spending more time with his kids and that he is appreciating things he used to overlook.” The piece ended with the line: “I’m not the same man I was a year ago. And that’s a good thing.”

I believe him; marriage is not for everyone and sometimes you don’t realize that until you’re in it. When you’re single, and of a certain age, society makes it seem like the goal is marriage in order to be whole. You add kids thinking maybe it gets better, it doesn’t and then you’re torn between your personal happiness and them having an ‘intact’ family. Good luck Tiger; continued happiness to you. Elin too.

Anybody could see Tiger and Elin were not happily married. She also knew he wasn’t faithful. So she ended up with a great financial package in the end. Hopefully, they will both find people they truly love this time around and not get together — or married — for the wrong reasons.
