“Homeless Man Offered Job With Radio Station”

His name is Ted Williams and he’s homeless!

Williams was soliciting money by the side of Interstate 71 in Columbus, Ohio, when a reporter from the Columbus Dispatch spotted his sign advertising his “god given gift” of a golden voice.

Williams was offered a job with a local radio station in Columbus, after a viral video he did garnered over 4 million hits on YouTube.

The reporter uploaded a video he made on his cell phone of Williams speaking, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“Why Ask Me?” “I Don’t Know The Perfect Gift”

Why are some of my readers (both male and female-females mostly) asking me for gift ideas?

I understand the holidays are here and along with it comes the classic dilemma — what to get the love of your life for Christmas? But really?

If you are having a little trouble deciding on that perfect gift to surprise him or her with this Christmas; shop according to the need(s) of the person, or the need that creates the circumstance for that person.

As boring as it may sound, be practical. And when you work hard and value your bottom line, you will consider shopping sensibly.

Fellas and my ladies, there are plenty of selections of neck-wear for him/her or baking/cooking classes for him/her, especially if he/she have a desire to cook but can’t.

And for that loyal reader who said her man just loves Janet Jackson, Mattel has recently created a Barbie doll in her honor, complete with a certificate of authenticity and a display case.

Be thoughtful and creative when shopping for the love of your life and by all means, happy shopping!

“Dinner Friday Night Was At The”

Skylark Diner and Lounge in Edison, New Jersey.

This restaurant was recommended by a loyal Ceo Blog Reader. The food was phenomenal, small in portions and just enough; but not worth the hour-long drive in Friday night traffic.

Equipped with a full bar and bakery on site, the food was good, the service was impeccable and the decor retro sixtyish.

There was four of us., I had the grilled salmon, whipped mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach, my friend had the shrimp, scallop and sausage fettucine, while the other couple chowed down on a chicken wrap with french fries and chicken parmesan with pasta.

Our appetizers were fried calamari and lobster bisque soup.

Thank you for your restaurant recommendations (keep them coming) however, anything further than 45 minutes away from the (NY-NJ) tri-state area, I will only dine at these eateries if ever in that particular area.

“Long Ignites His Members To Cross It Up”

I guess this is one of Bishop Eddie Long’s preaching styles and techniques, as he encourages his members including his sporty’s and shorty’s to “cross it up”.

Looks like “Bishop Long” had his members caught up in the sensationalism concerning his theories of worship.

I received this video from a loyal reader who said, ‘The video is sweeping the internet with different versions since the four alleged victims have accused Long of sexual misconduct”.

The caption on you tube reads:  Bishop Eddie Long cranks up the new “Cross It Up” dance based upon Genesis 48:13-14.
