Baggage Claim fails to deliver!

Patton_baggage claim

We’ve all heard the saying “always a bridesmaids but never the bride” well this was Paula Patton’s characters (Montana Moore’s) problem when she learns her younger sister (Lauren London) is getting married.

Paranoid and desperate about not having a date or a mate, Montana sets out to run into all of her ex-boyfriends in hopes of rekindling a romantic connection in time for her sister’s wedding.

This movie is loaded with all of societies stereotypes about the light skin female vs. the dark skin female and the over obsessive, altar obsessed mother (played by Jennifer Lewis) whose been married five times pressuring Montana about not being married.

The film devolves into one scene after another of Montana running through airports, bumping into her ex’s, dinner montages and flights around the country, in a desperate attempt to hopefully hook-up.

Directed by David E. Talbert, he delivers with a strong supporting cast and some handsome leading men however, chemistry you can fake, but charm is far harder to pull off, and “Baggage Claim” never quite succeeds on that front. The character in the movie was desperate and that’s always a turnoff!

News, Politics, President Obama

“If the government shuts down, blame Boehner and Cruz”

President Barack Obama sent those petty assholes in congress one really simple message from the briefing room on Friday (September 27, 2013) “Do not shut down the government, do not shut down the economy,” Obama said. “Pass a budget on time. Pay our bills on time.”

But Congress of course, is doing the complete opposite by approving a spending bill early this morning that would fund the government through Dec. 15, but tacked on amendments that would delay the federal health care law known as Obamacare for one year and repeal the medical device tax, a move that sets up a showdown and shutdown as of October 1.

The Obamacare delay amendment passed 231-192, and the vote on the medical device tax, which would help cover the costs of Obamacare, was 248-174. The House also unanimously passed a bill to fund the military in the event of a shutdown.

So there you have it folks! Congress is determined to fight and undermine not only the president but the American people despite the fact that, THEY LOST an election that clearly supported the president and  Obamacare.

Congress must agree to a federal spending bill by Tuesday, or the federal government will partially SHUT down, until members can find a compromising solution. Until then, the American people will be held hostage at the hands of congress. While House speaker Boehner and Ted Cruz continue to play this hate and retaliation game toward this African-American president .

Man’s Nose grows on his forehead…WTH?

CHNOUT

Xiaolian, 22, (pictured here), has grown a new nose in an unlikely place after losing his original nose to complications following a traffic accident. The new nose he has grown, is just about ready to be transplanted, doctors told local media.

Xiaolian failed to seek medical attention for an infection that developed from his nose injury. After several months, it had corroded the cartilage, and doctors were unable to save it.

But surgeons in a hospital in Fuzhou, Fujian province, placed a skin tissue expander on Xiaolian’s forehead, shaping a new nose using cartilage taken from his ribs.

The new nose is in good shape, according to local media reports, and will soon be transplanted to the correct place.

Bazaar, isn’t it?
