Funeral Home Knows Who Took Photo of Whitney Houston in Casket

Funeral home owner Carolyn Whigham says she knows who took the photo of singer Whitney Houston that was displayed on the cover of the National Enquirer. Whingham, who has known the Houston family for decades, held a press conference yesterday in Newark, NJ, to clear her name.

“I want to clear my name and my funeral home,” said Whigham, who said she had received dozens of threatening emails and was also spit on following “false and unsubstantiated rumors.”

The photo showed Houston wearing a purple dress and resting in an open casket. It ran under the headline “Whitney: The Last Photo!” The issues captions declared Whitney was buried in $500,000 worth of her favorite jewels. The gossip rag sold out quickly, and some say the photo may have earned the photographer a quick $500K.

Whigham (pictured left) was the flamboyant figure at Whitney’s opulent funeral, wearing a gold jacket and white pants, in the live video feed from New Hope Baptist Church on Feb. 18.

She said the funeral home’s investigation revealed that the picture was taken on Feb. 17, a day before the homegoing services. Whigham said a security detail from Nippy Inc., the singer’s management company, was with the singer’s body around the clock while it was at Whigham.

Wingham is considering taking legal action.

Bobby Brown’s Sister is Claiming “Foul Play” in Whitney Houston’s Death

Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown is not believing Whitney Houston’s death was accidental.

According to Access Hollywood she said: ”I believe Whitney’s death was not accidental. No.” However, she refuses to speculate about who she thinks is responsible by stating: ”My attorney has advised me not to get into that at all, but, it’s very important to know that she did not just pass away like that. No. And if it’s the last thing that I do, I’m going to find out what truly happened to my sister.”

Sounds like Whitney’s former sister-n-law wants to launch an investigation and apparently, she isn’t the only one who suspects foul play. All kinds of stories are circulating the internet since Whitney Houston passed away on February 11, hopefully in the end the truth will prevail.
