Toni Braxton reveals abortion in new book.

Braxton_Toni

When are some of these celebrities going to realize, that some things you experience in life, you take to the grave and not tell the whole world. But I guess these confessions are all apart of remaining relevant in a business wrecked with the worst scandal is what sells.

So Toni Braxton had to reveal that more than 10 years ago, she had an abortion by her then-boyfriend, soon to be husband Keri Lewis, partly because she was on a heavy prescribed acne medication. In her new memoir “Unbreak My Heart” Toni admits she would’ve made the same decision even if she wasn’t on the medication.

Years after the abortion when Toni’s youngest son was diagnosed with Autism she felt God was punishing her for having that abortion. She believes that this was God’s way of reminding her of the fetus she had discarded and killed.

Braxton realizes that this may sound odd but says she “believed that God’s payback was to give my son autism”

Toni also questioned if God was paying her back by giving her lupus and with her parents messy divorce. The singer also reveals that her father married his mistress 30 days after her parents were divorced.

Toni’s book is available in book stores now!

Autism is a lifelong disorder that interferes with the ability to understand what is seen, heard, and touched. This can cause profound problems in personal behavior and in the ability to relate to others. A person with autism must learn how to communicate normally and how to relate to people, objects and events. However, not all patients suffer the same degree of impairment. There is a full spectrum of symptoms, which can range from mild to severe.

Autism occurs in as many as one or two per 1,000 children. It is found four times more often in boys (usually the first-born) and occurs around the world in all races and social backgrounds. Autism usually is evident in the first three years of life, although in some children it’s hard to tell when the problem develops. Sometimes the condition isn’t diagnosed until the child enters school.
