Gabrielle Union recently opened up to an online magazine concerning “3 things” with regards to her relationship with NBA star Dwayne Wade. Union doesn’t often speak of she and Wade’s relationship, but decided to clear up a few things for the record.
1. On A Possible Reality Show: “I pay my own bills first off, so I’ve never put myself in a position to have to be a jackass or to have to sell myself down the river for a reality show. I was just raised a little differently and my situation is a lot different being that I have my own career, my own celebrity status on my own independence, and before him. But, I don’t knock anybody’s hustle, it’s just not my path.”
2. On marriage: “We’re just happy, so whatever comes down the road is down the road. And it’ll be in order”.
3. And kids: “There would be a wedding before there would be a bambino, so all these reports of mystery babies that they like to keep giving me – there’ll be no baby until you’ve heard about a wedding.”

What career? She was in big screen movies and other ventures (advertising, etc.) that made her money. She doesn’t have to do that to get money. When I first heard about this show and that Shaunie was behind it I figured it would be a nice docu-styled show displaying the wives in their individual home atmospheres. Raising kids, taking care of non-basketball stuff, facing all of the challenges that come with that lifestyle and showing what they could do with their own careers/lives. Instead we got a ghetto version of Sex in the City. A cesspool of superficial, immature, self-serving, stupid b!tches who’ll do just about anything to be added to the next season.
