The 44-year-old actress, is planning to face off in court with her ex, model Gabriel Aubrey, over custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Nahla.
Berry pulled out of a film production in New York this week, due to pending custody litigation involving her daughter,” her publicist told the Daily News in a statement Monday.
“She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter’s father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention.”
“Halle has serious concerns for her daughter’s well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her.”
I wonder if Halle is re-thinking and regretting the choices she made in picking a father for her child.
Berry and Aubry, split last April after four years together and seemed to have an amicable breakup, even being spotted together taking Nahla on joint excursions. But in December, Aubrey, 35, officially filed for joint custody via court papers and requested to have his name added to Nahla’s birth certificate.

Like alot of women in their late 40’s having been in failed relationships, they hop on the first thing that seems good and have a baby with that person, unmarried and unattached (sort of), then when it all fails and all hell break loose., they run to the courts for them to settle rights that only couples in a union should have. Adults don’t realize the mental damage they’re doing to a child when they decide to procreate OUTSIDE of God’s plan of a convenant union.
Halle is now suffering for the decisions she’s made and I hope she handles her decision well and in the best interest of her daughter. For she is tied to her daughters father for the rest of her life whether she likes it or not.

I really believe Halle needs professional help and should step away before her true self is exposed. She is estranged from her own mother and sisters because of her issues. With the ex-husband, ex-boyfriends, sisters, etc. who could be forced to become witnesses against Halle, he can probably put on one hell of a case proving Halle to be unstable and unfit.
