Well, I’ve always believed Mary’s story because if you listen to Steve’s interviews recently, he talks extensively about how he was in a “dark place” back then. When that occurs, you’re proned to do any and everything, because you’ve lost your way. Now, what disturbs me the most is despite the fact of how bad this marriage may have ended, it’s been reported that Steve failed to honor this woman as the mother of his youngest child in the divorce; not to mention that she was there while he was struggling to rise to the top AND the fact that I’m sure she dealt with some remnants from his first marriage. Based on those aspects alone, he owes her a great deal. Certainly none of us know all the inside details of their marriage nor what contributed to the demise of the marriage and honestly, we don’t need to know. But, it’s called doing the right thing. What kind of message are you sending to your children by screwing the mothers of those children (or fathers if the table was reversed) out of something fair and just? When the relationship goes awry and the parents choose to separate, the parents must find a way to get past the emotional baggage that exists between them and think and do what’s best for the child. That includes exhibiting the best attitude and behavior possible towards the other parent, even if they’re deadbeat and trifling. So I pray for this child that Mary and Steve share, because best believe somewhere along the way, this kid has been or will be (when he’s older) told so many falsehoods about this situation. I pray they all will admit the truth of what really happened, seek forgiveness and move on.

Well I see it like this… You gotta make mistakes in order to learn from them. Him having experience of doing the dirt that he has done in the past has made him wise. Wise enough to write a book about all the fuck-ups of what men do and what women should be aware of.
So I really don’t see any problem there. That’s like taking advise from a marriage counselor that has never been married. I would feel more comfortable knowing someone is giving me advice when they have been down that same road as well, IMO.
Now, I brought his first book, and it was very informative and let me tell you, I’m now engaged to the guy I was dating starting 2 1/2 years ago. I give some credit to Steve, because these things I wasn’t informed not even by my own mother.
But learning how he has done his ex wife is a big fucking turn-off for me. I was thinking about buying his second book and gift others with it, but now I have changed my damn mind.

i hope you you’re joking. when it comes to relationships you should always follow your heart unless you’re the type to have alot of pride and miss out on being with your soulmate instead of working things out.
