“Happy Holidays To You”

Just wanted to wish my CEO blog family a wonderful holidays season. I’m taking some time away to spend with my family and close friends. You’re family too, so I had to check in to say: Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad and Happy Kwanza.

Eat, drink and be merry but most of all be safe!

  4. HEAR YE THE WORD which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

2 Thus saith the LORD, LEARN NOT THE WAY OF THE HEATHEN, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 FOR THE CUSTOMS OF THE PEOPLE ARE VAIN: for one cutteth a TREE out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 THEY DECK IT WITH SILVER AND GOLD; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. – Jeremiah 10: 1-4

Excerpt from ‘ THE TWO BABYLONS ‘ by Alexander Hislop:

” The Christmas Tree, now so common among us was equally common in Pagan Rome and Pagan Egypt. In egypt that tree was the palm tree…….”

NOW LET’S GO BACK TO THE BIBLE in Jeremiah 10 verse 5:

”They are upright as the PALM TREE, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”

NOW LET’S GO BACK TO THE BOOK EXCERPT:

” The Christmas Tree, now so common among us was equally common in Pagan Rome and Pagan Egypt. In egypt that tree was the palm tree; in Rome it was the fir; ¶ the palm tree denoting the Pagan Messiah, as Baal-Tamar, the fir referring to him as Baal-Berith…..”

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT BAAL????

” And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; THEY PROPHESIED IN BAAL, and caused my people Israel to err. ” – Jeremiah 23:13

How do you prophesy in BAAL??? By saying MERRY CHRISTMAS

    ****************************************************

I know it’s hard for many of you to break these vain traditions, but let us pay attention to what the Bible is saying:

” And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

    Romans 12:2

  7. Kwanzaa, is an African-American celebration of cultural reaffirmation, is one of the fastest-growing holidays in the history of the world. It took root 30 years ago, when graduate student Maulana Karenga, disturbed by the 1965 riots in Los Angeles’ Watts area, decided that African-Americans needed an annual event to celebrate their differences rather than the melting pot.
Not a religious holiday, Kwanzaa is, rather, a seven-day celebration that begins on Dec. 26 and continues through Jan. 1.
