There has to be concrete evidence which supports the suit followed with FACT. We’ll just have to see how this will pan out. I think it should have the reverse effect. People should start to go DIRECTLY to God and not use man as an intermediary. If a situation like this hurts your ‘walk’ then you aint walking, you’re crawling. The Bible warns against false prophets especially in the last days (not saying that Long is one) so if you read it you should not be surprised. The issue is that so many Christians go to church to ‘hear’ the word rather than reading it for themselves. And this is a huge mistake.

I don’t mean to disrespect anybody in the churches, but it ticks me off when a person of faith does something and the first thing they holler is “i am just of the flesh”. I realize EVERYONE is only human and will make mistakes, but this is BEYOND a mistake.
“Somebody hear needs to hear this word…” If you standing up front preaching to me about the sins then you need to also jump up front and put your own out there so maybe I can learn from your mistakes.
I attend church when I want to, not every Sunday, not even every month. But when I show up I pray for the sins i may have committed and I expect my pastor – although a human and of the flesh, to be a little better than me.
I’m following the commandments right at home at Bedside Baptist. I can’t just listen and follow some fleshy sinful human.
