“Conversations Of A Sistah” Will be on a “2 week” Hiatus!!

All work and no play can wear a Writer, Author, Daughter, Blog-talk Host, Founder and CEO sistah down, which is why we are taking a two-week hiatus to regroup.

The show will return to its regular weekly broadcast live on Wednesday July 31st at 8:00 PM.

In the meantime, tell us what two shows you’d like to hear in our absence.

Our cutoff for selection will be Sunday August 14th…….I’ll be reading and listening, so remember the majority will win! 

I thank you for supporting the show and look forward to returning to you live at the end of the month.

Ladies, as we are in the midst of celebrating the history of woman this month, we must deal with the downside of being a woman. Many of us have hidden insecurities and annoying little dislikes about ourselves. Some of us diet endlessly, while considering different surgeries to alter our body images and appearances, instead of loving ourselves as we are.

Wednesday on “Conversations Of A Sistah“, my guest is Dr. Felicia Clark, life coach, author and former Plus-Size Cover Model, who is the nation’s leading scholar on Body Terrorism. Dr. Clark  will discuss with me the big business of low self-esteem and talk about how advertisers use science and emotional manipulation to make us feel inadequate. Dr. Clark believes many of our social problems as a Community are attributable to this type of persuasion.

And we’re back with a vengeance…Happy New Year CEO Readers!!!

“Conversations Of A Sistah” is back on “Conversations Live” beginning this Wednesday January 16, 2013 at 8:00 PM. I hope you’ll join me as I discuss the history, the format and the base of my show, which was and is derived from my book, “Conversations Of A Sistah” subtitle, “The Truth And The Myth About Praying For A Mate.”

For those of you who have read my story, you know that I deal with and address many topics and real issues. Our goal is to capture that same essence with the show. Most of my “show topics” and guest in 2012, highlighted several mentions and everyday issues we may deal with on a regular basis. In 2013, I hope to go deeper into the core of what’s to come.

“Conversations Of A Sistah” is not a one-way conversation; I will always engage my audience of readers and listeners to chime in on my subjects as well. in addition this platform is not “for women only” either, we welcome and invite our gentlemen listeners/readers to participate too. 

This year will be a milestone year for the book as it turns ten (10) years old in June, so to help me kick off the New Year of the show’s return; I invite you to send me your questions regarding the book or any of the subjects mentioned within. What Are you “thankful” for? Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

The “Conversations Of A Sistah” show that was postponed on Thursday November 15, 2012 will air tonight on “Conversations Live“.

As we dive into the Holiday season, families will gathering with tidings and good cheer. It will be a time of turkeys, stuffing, over eating and pumpkin pie; a time for corn bread, football games, holiday parades, and giant balloons.

There are many ways to celebrate and express thanks during the holidays, even in difficult times, there are always things for which to be grateful and thankful for.

As you travel over the mountains and through the woods to your grandmother’s houses and family homes remember to give thanks for surviving eleven months of another year.

With only three (3) shows left in this year, “Conversations Of A Sistah” will air tonight as we discuss… what are you thankful for?
