Unpacking Stages of Grief, Tonight on Conversations Of A Sistah

Good Mourning Ministry
Minister & Grief Specialist, Caffie Risher

Grieving the loss of a loved one is agonizing. The heartbreak of grief can increase blood pressure and the risk of blood clots. Intense grief can alter the heart muscle so much that it causes “broken heart syndrome,” a form of heart disease with the same symptoms as a heart attack. Stress links the emotional and physical aspects of grief. You may go over the death multiple times in your mind, wondering if there was something you could have done differently, or some way you could have prevented the inevitable. The bargaining phase goes hand in hand with guilt, and this can be the most difficult aspect of grief for many of us.

Join us at 6:30 p.m. EST as we discuss ‘Unpacking Stages of Grief’ with our return guest Minister Caffie J. Risher on “Conversations Of A Sistah

    1. She is. She made a good point with her question. What has this quarantine taught you? What have we learned or maximized. She reminded us to find the good in this situation. She was amazing
