“No Justice-No Peace, The Pulse of AmeriKKKa” Tonight on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

This country is in utter turmoil. There have been protests in 25 states across AmeriKKKa since the murder of George Floyd at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota just a week ago. Floyd’s murder is added to the growing list of so many other black men and women killed in custody at the hands of police.

All 4 officers on the scene have been fired for standing idly by and watching their fellow officer choke the life out of Floyd with his knee on his neck for a total of 8 minutes and 46 seconds. Black America is outraged as these events of racism have reached a boiling point. In the midst of protest rippled across US cities, president Trump has called on the national guard as a tougher response, since looting and violent clashes have hijacked the protestors purpose.

Governors in 28 states and the District of Columbia had called in the National Guard as of Tuesday morning, deploying more than 20,400 troops to focus on containing the unrest, over 3,000 more than the day before.

The pulse of America has reached it’s boiling point and we’re talking about it on ‘Conversations Of A Sistah6:30 p.m. EST. on Blog Talk Radio.

  2. Tuning in Tracy for a voice and a conversation of hope. I joined a peaceful march yesterday and the feel was just so surreal. But I felt I needed to do something constructive. 😦 folk tired just tired of being killed and bullied by police.

      1. Cameo, if anyone is going to step up and encourage our nation and encourage our young people with hope again…. then “HANDS UP” I prefer President Obama. The pathology of Dump’s mental illness DOES NOT allow him to function as an adult. PeriodT. His mental illness is really that far gone.

      2. Daisy l watched Obama’s speech. I voted for him and l supported him. Knowing that i’m a hard core Dem this post will shock many of you. I’m disappointed. This speech was an epic failure. Quote: “l urge Mayors to review their use of force policies”. #1. Mayors are not Police Chiefs or Sheriffs. #2. We have seen corruption with Mayors, Police Chiefs and Sheriffs so this suggestion by Obama is senseless and inane. We need legislation passed that will charge police officers for excessive use of force not a write up from internal affairs. We’ve lost Walter Scott, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and numerous others due to excessive force and cops involved in these cases should be automatically charged when witnesses or video shows excessive force leading to injury or death. I will view this as a faux pas on Obama’s part because he’s not perfect but he’s out of touch with the black community. #disappointed

      3. Yvonne Exactly.
State police are under the authority of the state. The Attorney General can investigate at the Federal level but remember Trump is the President and William Barr is the AG and that isnt happening. Obama was trying to unite the country as a call to united and work together. That hatred and “stick it to them” mentality is why the police are killing blacks in the first place. A leader cannot have that mentality and be success. Trump thinks like that but for the oppositing team. Thats not leadership. What we saw today was the community organizer and peace maker Obama. Not the President because the current President is hiding in his bunker calling for snipers to shoot the protestors.

      4. I respect your viewpoint Daisy, but l could give less than a damn about uniting the country because racism is a learned behavior. Racism is taught so we will never be united. That’s a pipe dream. Obama is delusional to expect that we can trust Mayor’s to review excessive force data within police departments when these Mayor’s and Police Chiefs meet at the same country club every Friday night! We need a law passed that will charge police with excessive force. There is a substantial difference between reviewing and charging cops who abuse us because of the color of our skin! I still love you sistah!!
