The outbreak of the corona-virus disease 2019 (COVID-19), may be stressful for people. Fear and anxiety about this disease, especially one of such magnitude; one that is yet to be fully known by Scientist and experts. This time in society can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children. How you respond to the outbreak and being quarantined can depend on your background, the things that make you different from other people, and the community you live in.
Quarantining yourself at home can play an important role in preventing the spread of the infectious diseases. But this doesnβt mean that coping with the disruption in your normal life and routine is easy.
In addition to the uncertainty and stress of the global outbreak, spending time in quarantine can take a serious mental toll on you.
“Quarantine and your Mental Health” is the topic on this weeks podcast of “Conversations Of A Sistah” with host Tracy L. Bell at 6:30 p.m. EST. Special guest in our studios is Dr. Brianna Gaynor, Director of Peace of Mind Psychological Services.
The “links in this post” will access tonight’s podcast.
We hope to see you on the air!!

The reason Trump and his henchmen are pushing to reopen the economy so quickly in the middle of this pandemic is because they are in a PANIC over the unemployment numbers that will come out on May 1.
