Dwyane Wade’s Son Zion, 11, Comes Out at Miami Gay Pride

Dwyane Wade’s 11-year-old son Zion Wade officially came out as homosexual during Miami’s Gay Pride celebration over the weekend.

Wade posted photos on Instagram Story of his wife Gabrielle Union and his sons, Zion and Zaire, 17, participating in Gay Pride. “We support each other with Pride!” he wrote in the caption of one image that shows Gabrielle embracing Zion.

Wade, 37, who is playing his final season in the NBA, appears to be a devoted and loving father to his four children. As a toddler, Zion was raised mainly in Chicago by his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches, while Wade lived and played ball in Miami.

When he realized Funches may have emotional or mental problems that prevented her from bonding with his two sons, he filed for sole custody of his boys.

But by then, it was too late for little Zion, who began to show feminine tendencies at a young age.

Due to the demands of their high-profile careers, celebrities and professional athletes such as Wade have a higher incidence of homosexual children than society at large.

Despite the research that proves the child-parent bonding link, this is a difficult concept for parents to grasp because liberals promote the ideology that homosexuals are “born that way”.

The Atlanta chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians And Gays) published a guide to help parents who believe they are raising a gay child.

The organization says gay children who are not accepted by their parents usually have a higher risk of depression, suicide, drug use or engage in high risk unsafe sex.

  1. Hollywood sh*t , it’s just plain sad to know that they don’t even try and help a child know that this is wrong and they have no idea about the decision they are making this can destroy them as adults . As a child he needs real parenting and that is what a father is suppose to do unless dwayde is on the down low himself .

    1. I’m willing to bet those kids are unhappy. Gabby is too busy being a friend to them and I’m sure they miss their biological momma who I know has to be furious about this. If she ain’t somewhere in a a str8 jacket.

  2. Unbelievable that they would be aligned with the bullshit but this is more about their reputation and taking a stand against homosexuality. They don’t wanna lose their base😏

  3. Lawd Jesus!!!
My daughter and i were having a convo about her friend who is female and how she is bisexual. Mind you, only 13 years old. And I said how the heck does she know she is bisexual. First of all she shouldn’t be engaging in sex yet. my daughter told me, it’s not about sex it’s about who you like and who you are attracted to. Lawd I wanted Jesus to take me Now.

  4. I’m happy that they’ve accepted him as he is. I’m glad they’re not making him feel ashamed. However, I don’t think it’s right to be discussing a child’s sexuality. The two words don’t even go together. We don’t talk about children in these terms if they’re straight, so why is it alright because he’s gay?

    1. When there is wrongdoing such as being gay and other sins, there should be ALWAYS shamed so the Black person can get back to righteousness

  5. I just don’t know! It seems that celebrity kids are more gay than ever. Is he’s going to be trans?

This all seems to be “the new gay, queer” look at me, I need attention for SOME, not all, but something is quite disingenuous about this new gay 2.0, “I’m coming out!”

It’s “demonic” in my opinion, these kids are choosing such a hard life!

I’ve been around so many openly, proud gay men, and the stories were not cute! I just would have to give my son more time to develop!

  6. Not for it and will never be for it. It’s WRONG and I would NOT embrace that type of lifestyle if it were my son or daughter. I don’t only believe it’s demonic but perverted as well. Periodt!!!

  7. Whitney she said it best……
I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be
    Everybody searching for a hero
People need someone to look up to
I never found anyone who fulfill my needs
    A lonely place to be
And so I learned to depend on me
    I decided long ago
Never to walk in anyone’s shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I’ll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can’t take away my dignity

    RIP Whitney 😥

  8. I don’t care if they dress up like build-a-Ken or Rainbow Barbie my 11 year old will not be “declaring any type of sexuality.” There is plenty of time for that. In the meantime focus on your damn education.

SEXuality should be the furthest from these kids mind! This seems more like a push.

      1. Exactly @Lilly,
I have a problem with it because this is an 11-year-old confused child who should be enjoying his childhood. Homosexuality is defined as sexual attraction to the same-sex. What does an 11-year-old know about sex? Shame on the father for allowing Gabrielle to exploit this little boy for her own selfish needs.

Can we discuss/acknowledge the perpetuation of this gay narrative being pushed onto our young black princes…..so EJ is a league of his own but slowly we have turned a corner where younger and younger our boys are being taught that not only is it acceptable it’s almost popular to display feminine qualities……WTF!!!! I got a 7 year old shit is real out here

  14. This seems kind of weird to me. It’s almost like they took him there specifically so he could have this big coming out moment.
I’m not gonna lie, I’m not familiar with the pride events, but I’ve seen pics and it doesn’t seem like an appropriate venue for a child his age.
