Sean “Puffy” “P-Diddy” Combs mourned the loss of his “best friend” Kim Porter by posting a video that showed the 2 of them embracing during an Essence photo shoot back in 2006.
The 46-year-old, who is mother to three of Diddy’s kids, was found dead in her bed of an apparent heart attack at her home in Toluca Lake, California on Thursday, Nov. 15, after reportedly battling the flu and pneumonia.
“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” Combs wrote in the video caption on Sunday.
“I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our un-explainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER SHIT!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”
Regret seems to be a fact of life: the one who got away, the job you didn’t take, the fight you wish you hadn’t had, the choice of the wrong school, the investment you didn’t make, the money you didn’t save, the move you wish you’d made, and on and on and freakin on. That’s the predictability of life; there will definitely be something along the way you will wish you’d done differently.
Regret can be big – They can occur daily, or you can have everlasting ones that just seem to color everything you do. But what about those life choices we can control in order to avoid living a lifetime of regret?

After all he never married Porter, as his cheating on her during their very public relationship played out in the press. Is it possible his public acknowledgement and adoration for his best friend and soul mate an expression of guilt and regret?

to me he was treated like the grieving husband at her funeral. if they weren’t together, why did he post pics of the 2 of them during her memorial service and not pics of just her and the kids.?

I really hope she is not a victim of the fetanyl scourge via coke. I would be so sad. But the universe will always give a tragic example for folks. Look, coke is the MOST DANGEROUS NARCOTIC ON THE STREETS. They are lacing that **** with fentanyl and if you like your coke with a rum and coke or vodka OJ or some Henny, you will be DONE!

don’t know much about this woman, but I’m sure she lived and made mistakes like the rest of us. One in particular was getting caught up in Diddy’s lifestyle…lured by his money. I saw her on a MTV show preparing for one of her sons Sweet 16 party and she came off as a primadonna and snobbish. That’s the truth. She turned me off so badly that I stopped watching the episode. I feel she was abused and trapped by the evil Diddy but hey …she was no angel like most of us.

I’m not sure if she had a problem of which none of us knew, but we will find out or not. Sometimes they hide the outcome. Diddy will pay them to not tell the public what the real cause is, to protect her reputation and their children. I pray for her daughters and her sons. Very sad to have lost Kim so easily and quickly. WE have no idea of the backstory here.

Kim Porters(R.I.P.) son Quincy Brown is SLAYING his role on Lee Daniels( whom I recently attended his private screening of PIMP starring Keke Palmer) show “Star”. His acting is getting better and better since he was on Tyler Perry’s “Haves And the have Nots”. I’m sure she was VERY proud of him.

Good show last night Tra you made great points and i get it life is too precious to live with regret. and i do believe puffy will regret all of the “I shoulda, woulda and coulda’s and will have those children as a reminder of that 😦 just sad.

Good show Tracy but I believe Puffy loved Kim. He just wasn’t ready to settle down. And he’s not disrespectful to Cassie because she’s comfortable playing her position. No one made her stay with him for that long she chose that position. All she had to do was leave if it wasn’t enough for her….. And a man can’t do know more to you than you allow him to.

At the end of the day, everyone is purely speculating about their relationship, whether she was single, whether her and Cassey liked each other or any of it. Nobody knows but the parties involved. People make up stories in their imagination and piece together all kinds of old information they read or heard but it still is just a bunch of speculation and assumptions. What is known for sure is that the woman is dead and her kids are devastated. NONE of that other shit matters. Puffy doesn’t matter, Cassey doesn’t matter, whatever relationship they had or didn’t have does not matter. How they got together, why they broke up, who loved her more…SMDH. IRRELEVANT. There are so many other things going on to gossip about other than a woman that has passed. People just don’t have compassion or class anymore.
