It’s Black History Month and we’re covering all subject matters Black!!

Even history books can confirm how long black people have been in competition with one another. Divided by skin complexion as house and field Negroes, we were forced to create segregation within our own race. Trickling down from generation to generation, black people seem to still embody this desire to compete and tear one another down. Could this be why black people don’t support each other?

The Mexican, Asian and Chinese cultures will come over to the United States and perfect their crafts just to return back to their countries and give back. They continuously support their people in any endeavor they attempt to pursue. Unlike other races where they are prideful of their people no matter what the socio-economic status or difference in skin complexion is, black people rather separate the haves and have-nots within their own race.

    3. The moral of the question is how come black people won’t get into the habit of buying Black? We won’t support anything that we do. Some of us talk about it but won’t be about it.

      1. He answered that question in so many ways and one of the ways is, we envy and hate. If you heard the show, he talked about a couple who the woman wanted to purchase this painting from him but her man didn’t. THE MAN SAID “I AIN’T GIVING HIM MY MONEY” O_o sorry ass.

    1. The black $$$is powerful. We were robbed of our economic power. We had black wall street but the white man burned it down. Black business men lynched for being ahead. So yea it’s a lack thereof because our people don’t realize the power we have in our black $$$$

      1. There are so many stories on our history that gets lost in the mainstream normality mentioned such as Dr. King and Rosa Parks or slavery. When we are and were so much more as a people. And what I love about Tracy’s show is, she delve into those aspects.

        Actually @Adam you don’t get it. I get my black self up every morning and brush my teeth with crest toothpaste, a paste a white co owns, then hop my black ass in a car that a white company owns. This is a white man’s world where the economic monopoly is not an even playing field. Every other race of people will be united in supporting their own except us.

        Adam none of the products being sold in our communities are black owned. Even our hair care products are being manufactured by white businesses. If black people started to take note of what they buy daily, trust n believe it’s not with black businesses.

    #1. We don’t wanna see each other get ahead
    #2. We don’t trust each other

      1. I think the biggest reason sometimes is envy. So many people hate Oprah and the woman has built a brand 4herself that everything she touches turns to gold. And some of her own people envy that. We can never come 2gether as s people because we have to many hangups🙄

  15. We need to challenge ourselves to start buying black. Our people need to be economically empowered. I support this small black restaurant in my neighborhood go there every morning for breakfast and coffee Why? Because that’s the least I can do.

  28. Congrats and all the best to this business but it takes more than that we need to support them on every level. even if ordering online. I loved his tory and the gem of words that he left with us. 🙂 the brotha was on point. But whatz important is the moral of the story, our mentality is what has us so far behind. the envy and distrust is alive and well in the black community but when we get that Chinese food like he said, we don’t ask them shit, we pay what they ask, take that chicken and keep it movin.
