Trump Tells NFL Owners to FIRE Protesting Players: “Get That Son of a Bitch Off the Field!”

NFL players reacted with rage on Friday after President Trump told NFL bosses to fire players who protest and disrespect the American flag during games when addressing the national anthem.

Trumps comments were in response to reports that player protests have resulted in low TV ratings and half empty stadiums.

Trump made the statements during a rally for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange in Huntsville on Friday night.

NFL players were livid after hearing Trump’s remarks. Many of them took to social media to vent their anger at the Commander-in-Chief.

The NFL Players’ Union also issued a statement, saying they will never back down from protecting the players’ rights to protest.

  1. President Trump is right and those working with COMMON SENSE will get what I say….NFL Players are EMPLOYED by the NFL. For those here who have a job, try kneeling and see how quick you are escorted out by security (or) If you own your business and stage protests, lets see how long your business stay viable.

There is nothing racist about what President Trump said at all but OF COURSE liberal zombies will make it about race because it ‘s what you do…

The NFL has been losing hella money because liberal zombies, feel the need to bring your politics in the mix. What exactly is the end game to this?

Truth is: Colin Kapernick hadn’t played well in the last couple of years. Now if he’s hired, then good for him but he is a grown man and he knew “what it was”….

  2. He didnt call the white supremacists in Charlotteville that though.
As a matter of fact, he said there were some “very fine people” among them in that crowd.

  3. this is the nfl players right to do so….but ESPN and NFL ratings have tanked. People turn to sports to watch sports not for politics…

  4. Trump sounds ridiculous. He seems to have trouble accepting or understanding what the First Amendment is all about; but by now its pretty clear he doesn’t give a damn about free speech period.

Notwithstanding all that, he sounds like a damn fool. The NFL owners may cut the checks, but its the players who have the power. Collectively, they (the players) can shut the NFL down if they chose to do so. They can refuse to take the field, they can walk out on games, they could throw games–and there’s not a damn thing those super-rich owners could do about it.

  5. I think the owners should be advocating for better treatment of Black men by police since they earn billions off the efforts and athletic prowess of these Brothers.

But I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting on that.

  7. A four time draft dodger, Trump calls violent Nazis and race haters in Charlottesville “very fine people.”

  8. I don’t care about the protest either way. I do care about Trump calling people sons of bitches. I’m not going to even infer that he was talking about black NFL players, because a few non-black players have refused to stand as well. It’s just sick and wrong that this man is the President of the United States. Sick and wrong.

  9. Trump could spit in a black man’s face, and some of the non-woke coons among our people would still find a way to defend him, and blame the black man. Sad!

  10. Only a blind person would pretend that there isn’t a racist/bigoted undertone to a lot of things Trump says and does that relate to black people.
Take your blinders off, and just stop talking this foolishness. You’re starting to just sound stupid now.

  12. Fire them. This is our country and it has problems but to disrespect the National anthem and the flag….go somewhere else. We don’t want to see that at a football game. I do not and will not support this so-called protest. Despite what the commissioner says, he doesn’t support it either which is why Kaepernick is jobless. President Trump is only speaking the truth and I stand behind him.

    1. It’s our country too and whether or not a person chooses to sit or stand during the National Anthem is none of your business. I love the way you bigots say this is your country. It is not – just like us you reside in America but you can’t claim ownership. It is not like those rich athletes care what you support or don’t support. They did not get where they are because of you.

  13. It would be nice if Trump had shown this kind of passion and energy denouncing the white supremacists in Charlottesville. But of course he didnt, and I think we all know why.

  14. It’s called FREEDOM. You live in America it is your choice. Trump wants a communist country. Some things you have to agree to disagree but it’s still your right and if you are willing to accept the consequences of your choice, go for it!
