Conversations Of A Sistah, Tracy L. Bell, Tracy L. Bell - Blog Talk Radio

Post Election Conversations, tonight, on “Conversations Of A Sistah” as Donald Trump elected 45th President of the U.S.

president-elect-donald-trump-550x285A new day has dawned in America as Donald Trump, a non-politician, billionaire and real estate developer, was elected 45th president of these United States of America in a shocking upset and victory over former Secretary of State, Hilary Rodham Clinton.

Despite all of the star power that endorsed on Clinton’s behalf, Trump still won in major key states such as; Florida, Ohio, PA, Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia.

And although President Obama called Trump to congratulate him on his victory early this morning, Donald Trump has already promised to begin his term in office by gutting the executive orders that the Obama administration put in place. Obama’s legacy will be erased and repealed with a stroke of Trump’s pen on his first day in office.

Trump’s win sends a stark message to President Obama, that voters were unhappy with his presidency and the policies put in place.

Tune into “Conversations Of A Sistah” on Blog Talk Radio at 6:30 p.m. EST as we discuss “Post Election Conversations” with Dr. Malik Shabazz. Yes Family, this is his make-up session from last weeks show.

I will be taking your calls in the studio at 1-917-889-7872.

  1. People keep saying this was all about racism. But whites aren’t the only ones who cast a ballot for Trump.
Say what you want, but this was about OBAMA. He even said himself that if Trump won, he’d consider it a repudiation of he himself (Obama). And that’s what this was.
It also was a admonishment against the Democratic Party for forcing out good, credible candidates to clear the field for a woman with 40 years of baggage, scandals, and legal problems.

Exactly. Black folk said “Fuck it” and No thank you, we don’t want the same bullshit we’ve had in the past 8 years.

      2. Dr. Shabazz said it wasn’t…Hilary took the election for granted. Like he said she played the offense and her old boring ass didn’t appeal to the black vote. Plain and simple.

  2. It doesn’t matter who the President is it’s not going to really help any black person. They are all bad for melanated people because they want to erase you and any memory of your existence. Why do you think they paint Jesus white? They want to whitewash everything so carry on people business as usual. Don’t spend your money with people who don’t respect you!!!

  4. Look, you can thank Obama for this loss. People weren’t buying what him and Hillary were selling, which was more illegal immigration and more refugees from terrorist countries. Unfortunately, this means healthcare is a wrap as well.

  5. Living in Africa, but exposed to many Western media news companies, Obama is hailed as the hero of America, and maybe the world! What did he do that was so wrong for so many Americans? Genuinely interested.

  6. We all know what the hell Trump is about but I think if Obama actually fulfilled his promises to the people who voted for him in ’08 and ’12, then folks would have gladly turned out once again in record numbers and stood in line for Hillary. But 4 more years of Obama made a lot of folks stay their ass at home.

  7. But every bill starts in Congress specifically the House and because the same Democrats who showed up in 2008 didn’t show up in 2010 the Republicans were able to gain control of the House probably for at least the next ten years so those who are disappointed have only themselves to blame.

The Democratic base needs a good lesson in civics.

  13. Hilary won the POPULAR vote, Trump won the Electoral College vote….So why do people keep saying “the people were tired of the Clintons/the people VOTED him in”?? NO the PEOPLE DIDN’T, the electoral college (Majority White Men) DID!!!

    1. This is what destroys America – as my people perish for a lack of knowledge. As long as California is in the democrats column they will always win the popular vote, which is why there is an electoral college. Look that up it will serve you well.

  17. Donald Trump, a non-politician…
    ============================
No military experience, never wore a uniform, no government experience, never held a position in office, no experience whatsoever…none……whatsoever. He wasn’t putting in a bid for a new business venture, he was running for president, but yet and still, people voted for him anyway…even though he lacked experience, and showed us exactly WHO he was, smh.

  19. I remember very clearly, Obama smugly saying during an event,
” Look, Trump is not going to be elected, thats not gonna happen”, with a chuckle. I remember thinking “I wouldnt be so sure of my self, to laugh off the possiblity, he just seemed to over confident, Trump winning was a laughing matter. ..(maybe this was symbolic of Obamas aloofness?)
Because white voters in American , never thought ever a day in history that a Black man would be elected …..and he was….he shocked them all.

Now its Trumps turn. This is a reverse of what happened when Obama won. America is still a very very, very, very, racist country. We are still horribly racially divided.

Obama had the chance to put a historical plan in place to *BEGIN* to dismantle key building blocks of the racial establishment. He failed, and right before our eyes, every week Black men were gunned down in cold blood.

Now Obama is powerless, maybe if a miracle happens some time in the next 100 years, the next black president will learn from Obamas era and begin the transformation this country needs. Obama and Michelle will fade to black with their celebrity friends.
