When you think about Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, Sean Bell, Philandro Decastro, Terrance Crutcher, Alton Sterling, Keith Lamont, Sandra Bland, Yvette Smith and so many other black men and women who were unjustifiably murdered under the guise of “justifiable homicide” by police, the numbers are alarming.

Unfortunately, not a year goes by without a news report of some young man or woman dying at the hands of police (or someone who acts as if they are the police). Usually, these cases are polarized by the factor of race.

Join me tonight at 6:30 p.m. EST on “Conversations Of A Sistah” with my special guest, community activist and New Era leader “Keith Horton” (pictured left above), as we explore the “Casual Killing Act of blacks” then and now.

        @Starr, you are correct this is somewhat a similar conversation on the same issue because unfortunately they are very relevant to what’s happening in our society today.

        Oh Really we’re NOT? you think we’re not because they’ve given us their jobs, their educational system so we can think we are getting ahead and successful when in reality, it’s all a delusion hunty. some of us might have the nice cars, good paying jobs and pulling up to our nice houses but when they feel it’s JUSTIFIED to still kill us like rabbit dogs in the street, guess what sweetie? They still consider you a slave, just a pepped up slick version of modern day lynching’s boo……please read up on that act cause it’s deep.

  7. WoW! didn’t realize this but it does make sense that this law is apparently still on the books because there is NO JUSTIFICATION for killing us. 😡 seriously. and why are cops never held accountable for killings of our peoples.

        just like today, they’ve just modernized it. who knew about the “Stand your ground law?” until George “fat ass” Zimmerman killed young Trayvon Martin. Same instance. good show
