Another Black Man Killed in NC, yet President Obama is concerned about his Legacy?

Police fatally shot a North Carolina man they claim was armed — but a woman who said she was his daughter cried out on Facebook Live that he didn’t have a gun, triggering riotous protests that stretched out into the streets of Charlotte during pre-dawn hours of the morning.

As always, Charlotte police said Keith Lamont, 43 posed as an imminent threat when they tried to serve him with a warrant and he exited his vehicle with a gun. Lamont’s daughter took to her Facebook page to recant the cops claims that her father was armed.

In the meantime nation of Islam leader, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan chastised President Barack Obama for reprimanding black people about protecting his legacy.

Farakhan spoke with disdain in his voice about Obama’s self-serving speech at the Congressional Black Caucus gala, where Obama said his presidential “legacy” was in jeopardy if black people didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton.

“I just want to tell you, Mr. President, you’re from Chicago, and so am I,” said Minister Farrakhan during a service at Union Temple Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. on Sunday.

“I go out in the street with the people… I visited the worst neighborhoods… I talked to the gangs. They said, ‘you know, Farrakhan, the president ain’t never come… could you get him to come and look after us?’”

Farrakhan added:

“There’s your legacy, Mr. President… it’s in the streets with your suffering people, Mrs. President. And if you can’t go and see about them, then don’t worry about your legacy… ’cause the white people that you serve so well… they’ll preserve your legacy — the hell they will — but you didn’t earn your legacy with us!

“You didn’t earn your legacy with Black people. You fought for the rights of gay people… You fight for Israel… Your people are suffering and dying in the streets!”

    1. What? What exactly is he doing? Puhlease. He gave gays the right to marry. My Gawd. An alleged black man did this. I don’t consider him black instead African and white. With black men being shot down in the streets by police….he focuses on gays. He has tainted his legacy. What a shame. Smh

      1. The President didn’t give gays the right to marry…the courts gave them the right. Gay marriage was challenged in the courts and the Fed courts opened the door.

      2. It would have made a difference if Obama visited just once. We have no idea how these young men could’ve been impacted by his visit.

      3. Too bad you’ll never know. Because it’ll be a sunny rainbow happy go lucky day in the pit before him visiting and walking through the streets to help bring awareness of positivity of what a young black man from the same steeets can become. I always say that the president is never truly one on one with ppl Like MLK and Malcolm X. Instead of playing golf he can be visiting some of the worst black neighborhoods and trying to help make a difference in his position. But like once again the biggest wars in our country esp in poor neighborhoods go unnoticed. One MAN can make a difference it has already been proven.

      4. You’re expecting too much from him. Keep in mind. He’s not black. He’s a fake black. A disguise he put on when he moved to Chicago. He is African and white…He has no blood connection to American blacks. None.

  1. “could have”…shoulda coulda woulda ass NIGGAS is why WE can’t advance as a people…always cherry pickin and judging others but never looking at our own shortcomings…always looking for somebody to do something for us. Our ancestors fought so we could do for ourselves…they fought for us to have the same rights and opportunities as everybody else. They didn’t fight for no fukkin visits to the damn ghetto where some of us are taking ignorant ass pride in terrorizing and killing each other.

  2. Thank you for posting.

President Obama’s political career began as a community organizer in the black communities of Chicago.

After socializing and dating white at Harvard, he established his black identity and black credibility in Chicago which he owes his becoming the first black president.

Obama actually owed Chicago many visits, a youth empowerment task force, and lobbying for the civil and economic rights of poor blacks in Chicago the same way he lobbied for the rights gays and the transgender use of bathrooms.

His presence, acknowledgement of their struggle, and sheer expressed concern would have made a great difference in the lives of black youth in Chicago.

  3. President and First Lady Obama gave African Americans more of a monarchy, a symbolist, a visual, rather than real progress. Their visibility and symbolism was a form of progress but Obama did not affect critical change for black people in America. He did not give Chicago the passion, vision, and tenacity he gave to advocacy for the white dominated gays rights agenda.

    1. And let’s not forget he was playing golf while the people in Louisiana drowned. He is so arrogant that he didn’t care how it looked for him to be on the golf course.

  4. Farrakhan IS FULL OF SHIT!!!!!
I live in Chicago and Farrakhan is NOT in the ‘hood trying to bring peace and walking the streets like he said. Jesse and Father Fleger are out in the ‘hood, every week walking, marching, trying to get these young guys to put down the guns.
I have yet to see Farakhan.

  5. I’ll be glad when Obama is out of office so he can get some rest from all these naysayers and protesters. He’s the President, he has NATIONAL concerns, not local concerns.

  6. President Obama has NATIONAL concerns, not local concerns. He’s concerned about nuclear weapons and keeping the nation safe. He can’t be concerned about gang bangers and local employment issues. Was he supposed to open up jobs in the government and hire all black people? O_o

  7. I don’t think Farrakhan liked the president from the get-go….and especially after he wrote the President personally to NOT bomb Libya….he was acting on behalf of Ghadafi, and the President bombed Libya anyway….and of course that whole gay thing…goes against the Nation’s beliefs.

I can’t wait for the white person to get in office, and let’s see which way the wind blows.
