“Children’s Book Author “Delores Connors” on “Conversations Of A Sistah”

Delores_ConnorsFor a child to go from a mainstream classroom to a special education class can be quite devastating. It is an emotional journey that can have a strong impact on the student’s learning.

Delores Connors, (pictured above), author of the children’s book “I Don’t Want to Go” takes a look at the dilemma that most children face when transitioning into special education. This realization represents a good start toward promoting understanding and respect for children faced with this prospect.

Join me tonight at 6:30 p.m. on “Conversations Of A Sistah” via blog talk radio, as I kick off Black History month by welcoming Ms. Connors as my special guest to discuss her new title and her role in helping parents, teachers and school administrators cope with this process.

All “Conversation links” in this post makes it possible to access the show.

See you on the air!
